Best quality sand for aquarium for best results u have to wash the sand atleast 2-3 time

This is not original sand as claimed, but some crushed material. I washed it around seven eight times still dust particles comes out and mixes with water. So I had to remove it throw away after two weeks. It would be a bad idea if you plan to lay it in aquarium.

Purchased this 10 kg yellow sand at 583/-.PROS: First of all, price of sand is quite reasonable, the color is good and even matches to my rocks. It looks very interesting when the fishes pick the sand through their mouth and then throw it out.CONS: Secondly, you need to be ready to wash the sand continuously. Washing this sand is a test of your patience level. Received raw sand (full of dust) which was approx. 10kg. Just after washing it around 10 times, the sand was still found to be very very dusty (similar to clogged rainwater on the roads). Lost almost 1kg of sand in washing. Finally after breaking my backbone by sitting in washroom and constantly washing the sand I lost hope and put the sand into my aquarium. Now after filling water into aquarium it has become cloudy and the filter took few hours to clean it. Even after it, I again did change 75% water and the cloudiness has reduced marginally. I might even have to re-do the same process. Really dissatisfied with the end product.May recommend you to purchase white sand instead of this yellow sand to avoid issue related to dust.

No doubt its a good deal in this price rangethe sand i ordered is pure black crystal form and its a good one no doubt , but when it comes to washing it for the first time it is your real test of patience as the much you will wash it , the lower the dust get but it doesnt stop , so for best results CLEAN IT THROUGHLY ATLEAST 15-20 TIMES so that it doesnt harm your fish in any waythankyouP.S - THIS PIC AND VIDEO IS RECORDED AND CAPTURED AFTER 1 WEEK USE 👍

The product delivered as described, small sugar like gravel good for fish tanks (Planted / Non planted) both.As they are gravel, you need to wash ~5-6 times before putting it in the tank.Came with little dirt (black particles) which didn't go after washing.Initially it will make water cloudy, will go in few hours with good filtration in place.Its natural white no added colors or chemicals.

Even after 10 wash, dark yellow colour kept on coming out. Have to throw it away. Total waste of money. Definitely not a Sand for your Aquarium. This is the first time received such a poor quality of material from Amazon. Do not have negative stars rating otherwise would have given negative 5 star for the product.
