The harness seems sturdy and functional, however, obscure instructions were printed on the plastic packing bag in three languages, none of which was English. A jumble of belts and buckles in a bag. Thanks to some trial and error help from my wife we figured it out, but instructions and illustrations would be a good idea, that's the reason for the three stars.Update - - after learning how to deploy this - - used it for the first time - and works great. Upped from 3 to 4 stars.

Very good affordable harness. Love the front attachment for bracing myself while working. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because after a long day of using it and hooking myself to a ladder using the front attachment and leaning backwards, putting my weight on the straps, the straps started chafing my neck and shoulders. I ended up putting small folded towels under the straps at my neck. That made it quite comfortable.

upon opening the box i discovered a strap retaining clip was broken, and the fit was very uncomfortable.pulling it down over my head was no fun since the hole was only slightly bigger than my head. the front d-ring attachment sat higher than my sternum making it feel quite constricting. i would not recommend this product to anyone

Very sturdy and practical for my uses. I don't think any instructions at all came with mine, it was just the harness in a box. I had to consult the Amazon vendor photos to understand how to get it onto myself; I may label the chest loop "front" for next time.It's stiff (at least when new), so it was quite a struggle to get it in place and adjusted correctly the first time.I'm quite sure that it's overkill for my purposes, but overkill isn't a bad thing.

Instructions on a plastic bag is ridiculous. Nothing on how to adjust the harness to fit. I had to look at the pictures on Amazon to figure it out how to put it on.. Putting on the harness on is difficult due to strap around buttocks. I am small and just got it to fit correctly.I gave it 4 stars however, because the harness is perfect once adjusted and worn correctly.

Good price. Works like a champ. If you have problems getting it on you may be in the wrong line of work. I dangled from it for a bit and it wasn't too bad. Probably don't want to fall even with this!

I weigh 215, 6 ft tall, works as advertised

As advertised. Allows me to work on the ladder without supervision.
