SPARE PARTS/DVD

This movie will not be for everyone, but I had a blast with this film. Wasn't expecting much going into it, but I ended up being pleasantlysurprised exceeding my expectations. For someone who likes Metal music, Action & Horror films this was right up my alley. Just turn your mind off & enjoy it for what it is, cheesy grindhouse heavy metal mindless bloody fun.

Definitely a B movie and it was interesting to watch

A laughable girl gone bad flick.I don’t think your suppose to be laughing though.Cheesy is all you need to know!

(Hostel + Gladiator) x punk rock

WOW is this movie heavy on the downtime, with characters I could give two craps about. The second I saw the Fuse network was involved with this, my heart sank a little. And they totally lost me by the time the guy in the Corvette was trying to ram the girls' tour van off the road (No damage. It's a fiberglass car!). Some nonsense about the dirt in a junkyard that needs blood for crops. There's a cult leader who reveals himself to be a fraud. At its heart, this movie is about all the catty drama between four female bandmates. The action is pretty lackluster (and I saw a bunch of digital blood), with a few gore effects thrown in toward the end. I am the first one in line to see ass-kicking chicks in a movie, and Spare Parts offers very little in the way of thrills.

I watched this film with sufficiently low expectations. I didn't expect great cinema. All I wanted was a violent good time for a couple hours. Spare Parts met--but did not exceed--my expectations.To be sure, it has some good gory action scenes, and those really carry the story, which is good because the plot has a few too many holes to do so itself, and the characters (villains and otherwise) are just this side of unlikable.I do recommend it, when you're in the mood for this kind of movie, but I can't say I expect most people will watch it more than once.

MS. 45 is an all female hard rock band with some tough cookies. After they leave a gig and venue in shambles, their van gets run off the road. Eventually they have their right forearm removed and fitted to place on attachments which are various implements of destruction. They are placed in an arena where they must fight for their lives.The film sets up Emma (Emily Alatalo ) to be the final girl. The blood games are part of a cult to put blood into the ground for crops? that are nowhere to be seen in the desert. The cult didn't make sense and generally there is a long recovery time once you get your arm cut off.Guide: F-word. Brief sex and brief nudity.
