This is a great John Wayne movie!
This is an enjoyable movie to watch. All the streaming services all offer the newer version of this movie, but you can’t order this older version (John Wayne)!

To a Navy veteran In Harms Way is captivating. Wayne and Douglas portray their characters with authenticity reminding me of my Naval service so long ago. I watch it repeatedly.

Say Goodbye to Alan's Friend
This is the fourth in the series with Dr. Alan Gregory. I say that, because to fully appreciate this book, I think you should read the first three books. I'm not giving anything away, the synopsis says that in this book Alan's good friend Peter is murdered. Peter was a 'unique' person. He was a private person, a daredevil and a talented craftsman. There are the usual twists and turns, as well as vivid descriptions of the Colorado landscape. The whodunit was a little bit far fetched, but for me I could overlook that because I was immersed in learning more about Peter and Adrienne. Friendships and how well we really know each other are a major theme. Alan and Lauren are now newlyweds and getting to further know eachother as well. This series differes from others too in that Alan's wife has multiple sclerosis. The disease and it's impact on her life, and thus on his are dealt with really well. Lauren remains a vibrant, sexy woman, despite her MS.

John Wayne at his World War 2 best.
An "oldie but a goodie" as war movies go. Worth seeing a second and third time. Always liked the actors, scenery, action, and authentic description of what happened just before and after Pearl Harbor. Worth the cost.

One of, if not my favorite movies. All of Hollywood is in it. Great war picture in the Pacific theater of WW2.

Good Purchase
The quality of the book is 100% acceptable. The cover has some wear and tear and there is some discolouration of the pages but overall the book is very presentable. Happy with the buy.
