Sunrun freewheels are used by major bicycle manufacturers and bicycle shops because of their high quality, performance and compatibility with many types of bicycles that use freewheels in their drivetrains.

Deceptive advertising, Not the actual item you will receive.
To begin with, there is nothing wrong with the freewheel! I already have one similar to it by the same manufacturer. The issue is, look at the picture of the freewheel.....notice that the individual cogs appear to be relatively EVENLY spaced. The actual product does not! It has evenly spaced cogs up to the largest which is what is commonly termed a "bail out" cog or a mega range 34t. The attached photo is of the actual product. Compare it to the one depicted above. I have no use for this product but the hassle of returning it is not worth the effort!I have attempted contact with the seller but have not had any response at all!

Excellent metallurgy and finish for a low-end product!
This was purchased to replace a freewheel that was skipping in high gear. Originally I thought that freewheels do this because of broken pawls, worn bearings or worn ratchet lands. But that was not the case. I determined that for some reason, only in the highest gear (smallest sprocket wheel), the chain is riding up on the teeth, then pulling forward and crashing down into the next set of valleys.Installing this freewheel resulted in the very same failure, again, only in high gear. I didn't think there was enough clearance between the tooth valleys and the spacer ring to the next sprocket wheel, so the chain bottomed out on the spacer and the rollers rode too far forward, and were caught by the following tooth. I relieved the spacer ring a bit and see if that fixed the problem.Update 150710: Relieving the spacer ring with a Dremel grinding wheel did no good, so in desperation I replaced the chain with one that was chamfered to improve sprocket tip engagement. In photographing the two to show you the chamfered unit, I finally identified the problem! All chains are not alike: the replacement chain (the lower one in the photo) had the same width and spacing as the 'original', but less vertical profile, and the bike is fixed. The freewheel I received is a well-made and serviceable standard catalog unit. If you get the same part, rest assured it will be trouble free for years.

Good Replacement, Uneven Jump in Ratios
This is a perfectly good replacement for an old worn-out freewheel. My only complaint is that my old one had a nice even progression through all six gears, while the new one has a nice even progression through five gears, and then a huge jump to the largest (easiest) gear. If your bike has only two speeds in the front, this gives you the sense of a hill climbing gear, but is really still not as good as an even progression of gears from the same smallest to largest gear. If, like mine, you already have a third hill-climbing gear in front, the jump in the rear gears is just annoying. Unfortunately there's not much selection in freewheels anymore, so I'm just glad that I can get something to keep my old beloved bike on the road after all these years.

Simple fix with the right tool
I ordered the special tool at the same time and fixed my kid's bike in just a few minutes.

Product isn’t as it seems.
Correct material and gear count, but incorrect range. They literally took a mega range style freewheel and copied it for 6 speeds.. not bad for the price point. You get what you pay for I guess.
