Great product, clean install.
Bought this a couple months ago, as I installed an SSD drive as a second drive in my computer tower. I could have gone and bought a separate cord for the data and a separate cord for the power, but this looked clean and neat so I purchased this instead and saved money doing so. Really satisfied and I would recommend this for anyone stepping up to SSD.

Clever, Simple, and it worksI purchased this adapter to do exactly what it is made to do. Convert a 4-pin power connector to a SATA power connector. This is a nice gadget. The construction is durable and connections are made easy.

a nice bit of kit
This does it's job. I wish we could move away from the Molex connectors though. In this day and age, I don't understand why it's such a hassle to use native SATA power connectors. My current build moves my SSDs to a remote area of the case, and having a modular power supply is pointless if I have to dig out the Molex strip for it.Otherwise, a nice bit of kit.

Works but SATA cable is too short
Used these as replacements for the brittle plastic SATA connectors in Antec SATA HDD Docking Stations. But, the SATA cable is a little too short to reach some SATA connectors on the motherboard (the 12" length includes the connector itself). Also was very difficult to plug in the white power connector (none of the connectors are name-brand).

Economic
I needed to clone my HDD before it failed, so I tried a dock; didn't work at all. I then read how easy adding a HDD via SATA was. WD's Blue program plus this cable worked first time easy at nearly a fourth of the price.
