Sun Yin 100% Cotton Soft Cozy Full/Queen Blanket, Taupe, Tan

This blanket has been relegated to our warm-up blankets that is; a plain (somewhat thin) cotton blanket that we roll up and microwave for a minute or two, (on turn table) to wrap up in when feeling chilled or achey. Of course, this is not a suggestion for readers - just what we do at our house!This basically means it is not one of our 'better blankets' as it is not very thick and, the color is a dismal brown as opposed to the Taupe that I ordered. (Brown being my least favorite decorative color).Finally, the blanket has a slightly funny smell - even after washing and it feels like it is NOT 100% cotton but maybe 50% cotton and 50% rayon or some other synthetic fabric.If you're looking for a light weight run-of-the-mill cotton(?) blanket, this will do, but if you're looking for something more luxurious then spend a little more money and try another brand. I will not buy from this manufacturer again.

I purchased this product because I wanted something light and breathable to sleep with during the warmer months. I was hoping for something that would look nice as a covering for the bed as well, since I wanted to ditch my down comforter for a few months. This served both functions nicely. It provides a light amount of weight as I sleep, without leaving me much hotter than the sheet alone. During the day...well, it isn't a super-stylish bed covering, but it does provide a nice, uniform look when I make up the bed. I ordered the full/queen size, and it fits my queen bed well - hangs several inches past the mattress at the foot of the bed and the sides. Additionally, I think it's of pretty good quality - especially considering the very reasonable price. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I know cotton blankets pill when washed, but this one had an usual amount of pilling. I had to clean out the filter trap every 10 minutes while it was tumbling in the dryer. Then I had to go over both sides with a lint brush to remove additional lint. I needed a blanket for my guest room in a hurry and decided to keep it, but feel it could have performed better in the wash.

I bought this blanket a year ago and we have used it during the warm months of the year. I bought the full/queen and it does stretch after washing to the point that is is actually too large for my queen size bed. My daughter has a king size so I am going to give it to her. Other than that the blanket is a nice weight and has held up well.

They do not pill, and even thought here is a lot of lint to clean out of he dryer, I can't tell where it comes from. The easily washable blanket stas oft, warm (we put two on the beds when it gets cold) and does not maintain any smells that synthetic blankets do.

Nice and warm blanket, perfect for cool temps. When I washed it though, I didn't wash it separately and the other items with it were covered in lint balls - so make sure you wash separately! :) Color was much darker than it appeared in the picture as well.

This item is darker than the picture portrays. It is most definitely in the "brown" category--I thought it would be more in the "cream" category. Still, it has a good quality feel and washed nicely. I've had it only a short time and cannot rate how its long-term productivity is; nonetheless, it is acceptable, for now.

I was looking for a neutral colored blanket for layering, and this was perfect. It's warm but not too warm, is light enough so I don't feel like I've another mattress on top of me, is soft without shredding or pilling. Great buy.
