Tight shoulder muscle knots from hunching over a laptop all day? Just lean back into the Bodhivana massage ball and say hello to a well-deserved tension relief treat use it at the office for a much needed foot massage under the desk or a complete relaxation massage in the comfort of your home. The short thick spikes on this hard plastic massage ball are designed to hit your trigger points highly effectively with better results compared to softer massage balls which collapse under pressure and have their spikes fold in on themselves. Trigger points cause muscle stiffness, discomfort, limited motion and ultimately pain. By using a good quality massage ball and foam roller combination, you can treat your current trigger points and avoid them in the future this type of muscle massage also helps you increase flexibility, blood circulation, break down and remove cellulite, decrease risk of injury, increase performance and assist in faster muscle recovery, not to mention reduce stress and calm not only your muscles, but also your mind. The 7cm in diameter Bodhivana massage ball is ideally used in combination with a foam roller which focuses on treating the larger muscle groups, whilst the massage ball can reach and treat the smaller areas the foam roller is not able to.

My 14 year old claims complete pain relief after rubbing her shoulder around on it!!
I have used other stress relieving balls so wasn't sure how this one would compare. I suffer from chronic myofacial pain syndrome so having a way to release trigger points is pertinent to my health. This ball was bigger than I had imagined it would be. It has very hard pointy spikes. The spikes aren't so pointy to where they hurt when applied or rubbed on the skin. I tried them on my shoulders and my feet. It felt nice. My 14 year old daughter was complaining of her shoulder hurting tonight, I told her to take the ball and put it b/w her shoulder and the wall and mover around on it. It was a bit slippery on the wall, but immediately after doing it a few times she claimed that her pain was gone and was surprised that it really worked. I think this would work well for plantar fascitis or trigger points in the shoulder and upper back area.It comes with a fantastic netted bag to take on the go!!* I received this product at a discount for an honest review. I try to be really honest about the good and bad of the product. I hope my review helped in making a choice to buy the stress reliever ball or not to buy it. Took some getting used to, but now I like it
Pros:- I mainly use my stress ball for my feet and it feels really good and does help get at the achy spots.- Normally use the ball on feet while watching TV and I really like it.- At first I felt the ball was too hard, but after I got used to it the spikes on the ball don't hurt and massage well.- Using it on my feet I can actually feel it working on my bad knee that has severe joint pain.Cons:- I personally think if it was in shape of dog bone or more elongated it would be easier to use especially for your feet. This would make it possible to massage the side of foot and the ball wouldn't shoot across room like it’s done several times.- I wish it came with instructions for different techniques and positions to use the ball.Overall, I think this is a really good stress ball and helps relieve pain.

Really you really use tents
I like to run and I will like to run a lot more than I do now. But every time that I run my feet always seem to hurt and this like a stress relief ball has helped out a lot with relieving my feet. I don't only use it on my feet I also use it on each side of my shoulder blades and shoulders to get into the deep spots. I really like it because they have no give so it's super hard and it gets the deep spots. I also use it on my quads hamstrings and calves.

Very good quality and great relief after a long day
This is much better than I expected. It isn't hollow, cheap plastic but rather a very solid hard ball - the spikes are very firm but close enough together to nicely massage and avoid any painful stabbing, even with strong pressure being applied.Feels so good at the end of a long day on your feet, or if you have tight muscles in your feet/pain in your heel - I've used for all of these and the relief is fab.Not sure it's worth the full price of £16, but if still on offer I'd very much recommend.
