We've been using Biotics Research products bought locally for a long time. We were apprehensive about buying from Amazon but this was the real deal.

This product was recommended by a Doctor of O.M.D. (Oriental Medical Doctor) I saw many years prior. My chief complaint was aching bones in the morning which felt like my whole skeletal framework was in pain and I noted a lot less energy. I had explained the pain to my Primary Care Physician and GYN and neither knew what to recommend. After discussing the above with several lifelong friends they recommended the above O.M.D. The doctor explained "As we age the thyroid gland produces lower levels of thyroid hormones". My lab work showed I was within the "normal range". The O.M.D. went on to explain that my problem was most likely a decline in thyroid hormone production in spite of the normal lab findings. The bottle states "one drop daily or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional". My dosage recommended by the O.M.D. was 10 drops in 8 oz of water daily. I have been pain free for years thanks to the O.M.D. recommendations.Liquid Iodine Forte by Biotics was the brand recommended and sold at the doctors office. I was so glad to discover recently the product on Amazon.com. Again "thank you Amazon.com" for providing reputable companies who provide great products.

So far I am pleased with the Iodine product, but I need to wait for a little while to see if this works and is doing its job.I will need to come back in a few months to give you an update.

I wanted to let everyone know two things. I called Biotics Research Corp, and they told me, even though I didn't ask or care, that they will not stand behind their products that are sold on Amazon. I said that's fine, it is sealed and I'm sure it'll be okay. My question to them was "how to take it", the directions on the bottle where vague, at least to me. The Biotics CSR clarified it for me. The directions say "take one drop" that's it, it doesn't say how. I was thinking I could put a drop in my juice, but NO. She said either put the drop on your finger and stick it in your mouth, or put the drop on a dry piece of toast. Those are your two choices. She said absolutely do NOT put it in ANY kind of liquid. I'll follow up a more thorough review later after I've taken the product for a couple - 4 weeks and let you know if there is any notable change. Cheers.

I get very very very cold very easily and I tend to shed a lot. I did some research and figured I had an issue with my thyroid. Since then I have my blood work checked about every 6 months and my labs always come back looking amazing...at least my doctor thinks so. Well, I don't like feeling cold and I don't like shedding as much as I do so I decided to try this since some other things I tried didn't seem to work. And let me tell you, I'm not miserably cold anymore. I get cold but not so bad that I'm miserable. My shedding has also decreased as well by about half. I take 3 drops first thing in the morning. I feel this has truly helped because I do notice a difference in my shedding and feeling cold when I forget to take it. I recommend this for anyone in the same boat as I.

I knew I had a deficiency when I started craving salty foods, my hair just hung there looking dull and lifeless, my nails were dry and broke easily and eventually I just felt bad all the time. I started putting a few drops in my first cup of coffee. My hair looked better, but I still felt "odd". I have been putting an entire dropper full in my first cup of coffee for a month now. Suddenly, I have beautiful half moons on my nails and I feel wonderful! I taste no difference in my coffee with the added iodine. Iodine is essential for thyroid health. I had no intention of taking thyroid meds and this product is the natural way to support thyroid function.

I had ordered this because in my research I kept finding that you could be low in iodine & that supplements could improve your thyroid. Well, I was diagnosed w/hypothyroidism months ago however the NPA I was seeing did not want to subscribe more meds as I was already taking meds for other types of things. So, my last Dr appt the Dr took me off of a lot of my meds & put me on thyroid med, so I haven't taken anymore of this. For now I'd prefer not to add until my blood has been checked several more times. The reviews on this said that it is tasteless & it is!! The shipping was quick & prompt. Bottle was actually bigger than I was thinking which I guess will last forever since it says use 1 drop daily, lol.

Good synthetic iodine. Works in a pinch if you don't have access to powdered kelp. The recommended dosage per day is like all things your body really needs to function correctly---too small to make a difference. Don't be sheeple people, do your own research. The average Japanese woman and man living near the coast consumes 3500 to 5500 mcg's of iodine per day with zero adverse affects ....just something to think about when you read paranoid dosage parameters given by the "experts" over here. People who aren't sick don't need doctors...but that concept doesn't make anyone any money.
