This shower filter worked well until it was time to change the filter. No matter what we tried, we could not separate the two pieces to put the new filter in. Upon contacting the seller, they backed up their product and sent us a new unit, which works great and is easy to refill. (Our first unit had a metal top instead of the plastic top on the new unit -- I can see why the manufacturer switched to plastic.) We were very impressed with this seller and would never hesitate to order from them again.

Leaks while in use and not in use. Makes a mess in the bathtub. Will be removing it. Wish we had installed it sooner so it could have been returned. Costly mistake on our part.

As with previous reviewers of the same product, there is a minor flaw in the cartridge. The circulation auger in the base, designed to push water into the cartridge, either fails or insufficiently does the job.Once you drill small holes in the top of the cartridge, allowing water to actually be charged with the Vitamin mixture, ONLY THEN does this product work as expected and as advertised.Previous versions do not need this augmented flow modification, though future releases may have a different design. Until then, drill baby drill!

This filter makes such a difference for my skin, which is very sensitive to the chloramines in our water supply. I'm so glad they came up with this inline filter that works with my slide bar shower head. I have not had any problems with the water flow or leakage - it works great.

The design is great. It fits perfectly. The vitamin c filtration didn't provide any noticable result benefitting my hair or skin.

The media could not be loaded. I love the idea of this but so far I haven't been able to get the unit to stop leaking. I have the set up as the extension the filter then my shower head hose. However I have a ton of water leaking from joint where the filter meets my shower head. When I first installed it I had a leak at around the bottom of the filter, almost like a high powered stream. I attempted to fix this and now I have a ton of water escaping from where the filter meets the shower hose, just streaming down on top of the first leak. It seems like the more I trouble shoot the worse it getsAnd I'm not sure if this is the filter but my bathroom now smells very reminiscent of a wet dog or Fritos, not as strong but not what you really want your bathroom to smell like. It could be since this is a new unit and is plastic that the plastic just needs to air out. I've never had plastic smell quite like this but hey you never know. I don't think it's the actual filter since if anything I would expect to smell like an orange or similar citrus fruitStill going to try to attempt to troubleshoot this further and attempt to get this unit to stop leaking or at least have the leaking be negligible.

Ok for my first shower filter
