Does it help that I know Fr. Lester personally - maybe - but I have read so many of his books that I think I can safely say - he loves Secular Franciscans - he loves 'Franciscans' - he love Jesus - and Mary. Not mention his love for St. Francis of Assisi. This is a wonderful book for on-going formation - for anyone who is interested in studying about the Secular Franciscan way of life and what makes us tick.

I've only read about the first 30 pages, but I'm really enjoying this book. To sit and read through the Constitution of the Order is rather difficult. Fr. Bach has put this into a context that is very interesting and helpful in understanding what the Constitution is saying.

I was pleased to learn in depth of how to live the gospel life style of our Lord Jesus!
