This 5.5” is the same length as the 5” ones. Good shears but
I bought these shears, assuming the extra 1/2 inch would be added to the length of the blades (in contrast to the 5” pair which I also purchased). Wrong. These are the same length blades as the other, for $18 more. I just saw this same model for only $8 or something thru a different vendor. So do your research. These are a good quality pair of scissors for cutting hair - I had a pair for years like these, but more like 6-7” in length. Which I had to relinquish at airport security. Sigh. I’ve been cutting my own hair for many years, and am used to the longer ones- so will keep the 6.5” scalpmaster model- same manufacturer.

Sharp and easy to use because they are small
They are easily maneuvered. I borrowed a friend’s pair and promptly ordered my own. They are made in Germany.
