Even with my 26 years experience with my pool, I could not position the tarp anywhere close to a proper fit. The tarp is puckered and kinked all along that edge no matter what I try. The problem is caused by the puckered fabric along one side of the adjacent seam. The tarp on one side of the seam is flat as it should be. On the other side of this seam, the fabric is puckered all along the length of the tarp. Some of these puckers are 2 and 3 inches high. The tarp is now frozen down for the winter so unfortunately I am stuck with. My shipping cost is well over $100.00 to return it.

I bought this because most reviews were good and it appeared to be a solid product. It was installed last fall to close our pool in Ontario for the winter with water bags and carefully positioned to avoid any rubbing or other contact. Now that the snow has melted water just came right through the tarp and it mixed snow/rain water with pool water below. There are no holes or damage water to soaked through. Very disappointed.

Seems like a very strong well built winter cover?Just 6 ft too long for our pool, but perfect width.Shall see if company stands behind a 15yr warranty??

I bought this pool cover 5 years ago and used it every year in addition to a safety cover to keep light and leaves out. Two years I had it under the safety cover and didn't need anything to hold it down. 2 years I used it on top of the safety cover and used those horrible water tubes to hold it. Last year I was fed up with buying new and expensive water tubes so I decided to use the attached grommets and garden staples. This worked well with the paving stoned around our pool but by spring most of the grommets were ripped or missing and there were some small holes so I decided to buy a new one.When I went to the Amazon page I saw the 15 year guarantee and contacted Blue Wave. Simple process of emailing them pictures and a screenshot of my original order. I was told they would send me a new one. HOWEVER, since it was 5 years into their guarantee here's what they said...Under the warranty agreement you are responsible for the prorated amount of $52.00 for the cover plus the shipping amount of $25.62.An additional service charge of 3% ($2.33) is applied to all credit card purchases.Total cost: $79.95Since I'm going to try the garden staples again this year and I know their grommets won't hold up I've chosen to purchase a much less expensive cover (40 bucks) that I'll probably have to trash in the spring.
