As it is...
I thoroughly enjoyed "Tomorrow's Catholic". I had borrowed a copy from a friend and after reading it, I knew I needed a copy of my own. I believe Fr. Morwood hit the nail on the head. We no longer live in the medieval period and it's time for the Catholic church to come forward in time, beliefs and meaning. The Christian faith can be so much more than what we are supposed to accept for truth. Vatican II was moving us forward and now we have fallen back to the dark ages. Terrific book! I will be reading more of Morwood's books.

Excellent book
This is a book which is well-written and in very simple language. It is is easy to understand and the reflection questions allow for group discussion following each chapter. When I first saw the title, I wasn't sold on the book. But since we have gotten into the book, I am enjoying it very much and can readily identify with a lot of the references to the past and how we need to up-date our thinking if the Church is to remain a viable entity in the world today.

Good Read
Book brings up interesting ideas even for those who might not agree with all the views. Well worth the read.

God and Jesus are Relevant in the 21st Century
This book that looks at God and Jesus through the eyes of today's cosmology, enriched my faith while cutting away the superstitions of the past. Don't be afraid to read this book. The bottom line is that no matter how far science advances Jesus will always be relevant. I loved this book.

Liberal Catholicism at best
Did not care did this book at all! No basis as to why this person believes as he does.

If you are over 40 you may get a rash
There are glaring problems with a few of the premises you are required to accept very early in his book, He is aggressively pejorative in projecting a US theological perspective on a universal church belief system, which is OK if you agree. You may find his use of the term " world view" used very early and consistently through the book, tiring and depending on your perspective, probably wrong. This book will on the whole agree with you. If agree with his premise you will find a voice through this work. If do not agree with his premise you will quickly see why. A proactive book that is bound to generate more than a little dialogue among the more serious. I would recommend it to the strong but not the weak.
