Follow her journey and find out.If you read and loved the Fire and Ice Trilogy - which is also set in the DDVN universe - then I’m confident you’re going to love Natural Witch. I wasn’t Penny’s biggest fan when she was guest appearing in Reagan’s trilogy but I have to say she’s a much more interesting character when you get to follow her and get to know her better. Reagan is still my favourite female of the two and watching her from Penny’s point of view is amazing, as I think it made me love her that much more. Still, this is Penny’s book and we only get a glimpse of Reagan here, so that’s all I’m going to say about her. Penny. Wow. She’s so sweet and clumsy and a compete badass on the quiet. She’s so endearing, it’s hard not to love her and her quirks. I love that she has ‘pet rocks’. It’s such a silly thing but it makes you smile. I also love the fact that Emery loves her little quirks too. He’s not your typical hero either; he’s more of a reluctant hero that thinks of himself as a villain. He’s had a rough life and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any easier any time soon. The path he and Penny find themselves is a dangerous one, but together they at least stand a chance. I can’t wait to follow their story and see how it unfolds. I have no doubt that it’s going to be an emotional ride.

Cracking read and a good story

The storyline has improved massively from the first 3. Penny is a much more likeable character to me than Reagan, and the energy between her and Emery is great.The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is the audiobook reading a different edit to the kindle version.So many different sentences, a few different names- it killed the whyspersync experience.

Brilliant, fast paced, descriptive, funny and out of this world. Great escapism. Would recommend. I bought the series to follow their adventures.

Lol I’ve taken to hiding in bathroom to read more although I think my laughter & giggles might be giving the game away. Mummy might have rumbled me but as it joyful I think I’m getting away with it Like bing this series having read Reagan’s tale looking forward to more of Penny’s woo hoo. Enjoy

As with all K.F. Breene’s books this is addictive, Penny who is a real innocent but also a natural Mage meets up with Emory who is an experienced natural mage, and an attraction flares, whilst fighting for their lives and dealing with Penny’s very original mother,Lots of baddies, some good vampires, and magical battles just hope Penny and Emory get back together

Love the characters. Love the humour. Going to read all three books. Let’s hope the others are as good. Just starting 2nd book now.

I loved how the vampires and the blockages worked together against the guide.I can't wait to read the next book.

I love K.F. Breene. I love supernatural romance and these books are really good. I love the characters that come to life on the pages. Romance, comedy and, action all in one.

Loved this series. Penny and Emery’s journey is epic and hilarious. I didn’t think I could love a pairing in this series more than Reagan and Darius but then these two came along. The magic was interesting and the conflict exciting. Can’t wait to see what they do next and what the rocks tell Penny to do next. 🤣

This series just keeps getting better and better. I thought Darius and Reagen were my favourites but Emery and Penny have officially stolen the spot. And I agree with Veronica...a tortured reluctant hero is just swoon-worthy. Can't wait to read the next one.

I’d recommend these books for young adults.Penny has an amazing amount of power. Although highly unlikely that someone as untrained as she is who’s just finding out about her powers would be able to use it as good as she can, I don’t read fantasy for logic, so all is well. Add a hit mage to the mix and we’ve got tons of fun to read.
