Great Travelogue
Can't go there. Always curious about the Palastine-Israel conflict. The book presents a non-tourist view of the day to day life there.Binding, printing, paper quality and other physical characteristics of the book are perfect too.

The most captivating read I have came across
One of the most captivating reads I have come across, beautifully drawn, love the art style here, it's detailed but at the same time simple and pleasing to the eyes

Simply amazing
I have read a few other books from Guy Delisle and absolutely love his narrative style and art, but Jerusalem is his best work to date.It succeeds in putting a human face on one of the most difficult areas of history while still being objective. Delisle brings out the history of the region, and some marvellous panels show the beauty of the region, and sometimes also the utter idiocy of it.

Good book on an outsiders experience in Jerusalem
Gives a good idea of the confusion that is Jerusalem. Book itself is of good quality. Hardcover. Good paper

" Thanks, god, for making me an atheist "
Brilliant. Engaging. Sea of information. Changes perspective. Should be a part of any literary syllabus.

Great as expected!
We love these books and have the whole collection at home. Easy to read, funny, sarcastic yet not rude. Amazing illustrations!

Hermosa, hermoso libro.
La situación en Israel es tan compleja que lo que nos hacía falta es saber la visión de un extranjero tratando de vivir una vida normal y familiar en Jerusalem. Joya de la novela gráfica.

Beautiful, accurate, anthropologically dense
Visually attractive, architectonically accurate, ethnographically dense. A fascinating and complex account of the life of an expat in Jerusalem, that shows in a humble but sharp way the complexity of everyday life in the city, and by doing so contests the common wrong assumptions of many people about the relations between Jews, Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem and other places of Israel.
