Was perfect for my Halloween costume
Purchased this for a Halloween costume. Was more sturdy than I had expected, fit great and didn't fall off. Was perfect for what I needed. I painted mine a shiny green to match the Toy Story army man

Great for the price
For around 16 bucks shipped I wasn't expecting much from this liner. I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. It is made out of a fairly flexible plastic that seems durable enough. It has a nice, flat, olive drab finish. There is a full suspension system inside that mimicks the real thing, and even has a sweat band pre installed. The "leather chin strap" is actually the retainer strap for a steel pot as I had hoped. It is a bit thick and stretchy and the little black buckle doesn't retain very well, but hey, it's there and can be made or modified to work. It does fit into a Viet Nam erra steel pot I have with the cammo cover very snugly and you could wear it comfortably or have it sit on a display head nicely. It is made in China and the webbing is all pretty cheap, so probably not great for reinactors or wearing for any period of time. All in all perfect for one of my display helmets that had no liner.

Cheap but it fits
The webbing feels VERY thin and fragile. It would probably come apart if I tried to run while wearing it attached to my WWII era M1 helmet shell. But it did fit the shell so at least I can wear it.

Great for a Captain America helmet with a few modifications
Only real downside is that the 'leather' chinstrap is actually fake leather, but it's some of the most convincing fake leather I've seen (the underside is even fuzzy, mimicking suede from a distance) and this one is almost $10 cheaper than any other M1 replica liners I found for sale so I suppose I can't complain too much. It's only a little bit more expensive than the cheap Halloween costume accessory M1 helmets that are also sold on here but much more accurate. Definitely recommend if you're doing a WW2 Captain America cosplay (I added the canvas chinstrap).
