Years ago I purchased what I thought was a cup with holes at the top for drinking. Never occurred to me it was a cocktail shaker. My family member; who’s cognitively delayed, is a chock risk, so it slowed down their drinking of any beverage (coffee, water, juice). Well they needed a new one. After research, I realized what I got them. Got these, and they worked just like the older one (different style). They used it this morning, and no issues. It was lighter than their original one too, making it easier to hang on too; they have no grip strength. Bonus is it has ml marks so tracking their fluids just became easier.

I got this for my shaken espresso I make in the morning. Lid fits nice and snug, holds a good amount of liquid and haven’t had any leaking issues. Good quality too

I bought to make my own shaken espresso at home. DO NOT SHAKE HOT COFFEE. The pressure gets to be too much, the top comes off and makes a mess. Otherwise I like it, and it gets the job done

For the price I was worried but this is the perfect size for my iced skaken espressos at home! Love the clean look also!

I use this to make fresh fruit tea at home and overall it does the job well!easy to clean - It's easy to clean as the cup is wide opensturdiness and durability - i have been using it almost everyday and accidentally dropped it on the floor one time. still looks great and no cracksfunctionality - I don't like having my drinks with ice, therefore, the ice filter is really a bonus point. We can serve fruit tea cold by mixing the tea with ice while not having the leftover ice in your drink to dilute your drinks.not too good - The entire cup is made of plastic. Sometimes it's hard to entirely cover the cup while missing it. It happened a few times the drinks spilled out while I was shaking it. I still recommend this cup but just need to be careful when you put on the cover.

I love how easy to clean

I'm trying to lose weight, I use these twice a day to mix up my SlimFast shakes. So I am quite familiar with how these work and what their strengths and weaknesses are.It's all plastic, three pieces. The cup base holds the liquid. Then there is a dome lid on top of that, with a vented top. Then there is a cap that screws onto the vent to seal it so you can shake it up. The dome cap is just friction fit, no screw threads or clips. When you screw on the cap over the vent, it generates just enough suction to keep the lid on while you shake it up. To get the lid off, you have to unscrew the vent cap first, let air in to break the seal. It has a scale on one side so you can see how much is in the cup. But it is marked in LETTERS not actual volume. Each letter is 2 oz (1/4 cup). So 8 oz (1 cup) is equivalent to the line marked with "D."I do not recommend putting this in a mechanical dishwasher. The scale markings are only painted on, the power-washing jets in the dishwashing machine will erase the markings after just a few washes. So wash it by hand instead.The plastic is not super fragile, but if you drop the cup from 4 or 5 feet it can still crack. The plastic is a bit on the brittle side. So you don't have to treat it like fine china, but be gentle with it if you want it to survive more than a couple of months of use.Pro tip from a professional chemist: if you are mixing a powder in with a liquid, first put about 1 or 2 oz of the liquid in the cup, then add all of the powder and stir it with a spoon until it forms a sort of sludge. Then add another 2 oz of liquid and keep stirring until most of the powder is dissolved. Then add the rest of the liquid, put the lid and cap on, and shake long enough to fully dissolve the powder.

Bought this for my husbands birthday. It’s become his favorite shaker. It’s the easiest to use and easy to clean. Pretty durable too
