Nuchi Wooden Railway / 2-piece Western Train

Cute train, seems to be high quality paint and very solid feeling. Unfortunately the wheels don't fit our standard bulk wooden tracks. Not even close. I tried to fiddle with them - squeeze them in place, twist them closer, thinking maybe it was just shoddy workmanship, but the wheels are pretty solid and consistent between the two pieces. They're just too far apart. My son is currently too young to notice, but I know I'm frustrated. The other Nuchi train I bought (blue coal car) has a different wheel design that allows for adaptable widths. That one works just fine.
