This book helps one to understand the West Point Foundry site in Cold Spring, NY. I wish I had known of this book before my site visit !

Extremely well researched and written. Amazing collection of actual photographs which help make this history come alive. This book explains the important roll the West Point Foundry played in the Civil War and the American manufacturing revolution. I am happy to add it to my military history library.
