I was very happy to get this. I had a couple when I was a young child 12-13 years old. Back in the '90s I got one for every year at Christmas I had three and I loved everyone of them. Very over the moon to get one again I'm 48 years old now. I don't know why everybody's leaving bad reviews and saying they were broke and scratched and damaged. Mine was perfectly fine a little dirty nothing that a wet wipe can't clean. Thank you for having me it's big Nostalgia for me to have one again like I'm a child my inner child is very happy I will probably be buying a couple more.

I got this case to store my extra makeup products, the ones I don't use on an everyday basis but enjoy having when I want to do something other than my typical routine. I found I don't use them unless I can get to them quickly and put them away again easily to keep my bathroom tidy.The opalescent white is very pretty; a more sophisticated version of the brightly colored case I had as a child. It works well so far!Cons: The plastic is as not as sturdy as I remember the case I had 10 years ago being, and nowhere close to the sturdiness of the (even older) one my still mom owns. The mirror feels a little wobbly, but I don't think it will fall out.

Retro Caboodles love. Just like my middle-school days. It's still relevant, too. Sturdy, has a mirror, holds a lot. It's great for travel.

Bought them for my girls so they can organize their Christmas gifts/make up. So far so Good! It's holding up and helps keeps things put away. My girls like that they can carry it around from our house to grandparents and don't have to worry about anything being squished.

It's just like the one I had in high school!!! I absolutely love it!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this ! It’s a lot bigger then I was expecting my daughter is going to love it ! Love the flip up mirror.Only down side is they aren’t made out of that thick really durable plastic anymore. It’s still quite thick but the plastic is more of a low grade quality then the original Caboodles.Hopefully it’ll hold up to my 8 year old & all her make up.Over all I’m happy with my purchase!

Sturdy. Good quality. Nice color. I recommend and would buy it again. It is exactly the same as it was in the 90’s when I had my first caboodle.

It arrived on time and is very cute, exactly as I remember from my childhood days in the 90s!! I bought it as a birthday gift for my 10 year old who has been collecting makeup for a while and needs somewhere to store it. She loves it! However, I took 2 stars away because when I opened the box it had a very, VERY strong chemical odour, which has not completely gone away and we've had it open and airing for a week now. It's the same smell that flip-flop sandals sometimes have when you buy them online and they get shipped directly from a warehouse (I'm talking to you, Bench clothing: your sandals smell disgusting) and while it's not enough to make me want to return it, it's a drawback for sure. The makeup brushes and a little notebook she's been keeping inside smell the same way as the Caboodle now, and they did not when we purchased them. Because of this issue, I would hesitate to buy the Caboodle as a gift for another child. I know some people are particularly sensitive to scents (we aren't really, we are a purfume-wearing family) and this is a smell that would cause health problems for anyone with a sensitivity.All in all, worth the price, esthetically fine, perfect for a young girl. I just hope the odour isn't toxic, especially because the products inside it, my daughter uses on her face

Cons:• Lots of excess plastic on pieces making it appear cheap (probably is)• Minor scuffing and scratches on the outside• The mirror is not centered and is popped outward (difficult to get a picture) causing it not to be able to fit larger objects (mac lipstick) in the uppermost tray• the lid/mirror for the top compartment doesn't close all they way (very slanted and lifted on the left side)Pros:• Mine came without any plastic packaging and I did not encounter a foul smell like other reviews mentioned (perhaps they air these out now which could explain the scuffing)• I ordered the peach and teal color and received one that matches the photo (other reviews for other colors are not as lucky)• Overall size is impressive and can fit a lot of makeup• lock and handle appear to be sturdyOverall it's not perfect, youre not going to be getting a flawless product. However it makes up for it in functionality and it looks pretty cute too. If they lowered the price to $10 or $15 it would be more inline with its value.I bought this to transport makeup on my next flight - I will update with how it did.

This caboodles case was so great for my daughter, she just started collecting makeup and its the perfect size for all of her things, however, the plastic chemical smell is over baring, we needed to put it outside for a few days to let the smell air out, but still it lingers and now all of her products smell. We are able to get over the scent and it is a great product.

This was bought as a sanitation station for school. My daughter has it at her desk at school, covid means we need to be vigilant with hand hygiene and masks, this allows her to do that, storage for spare masks, hand sanitize, cleaning wipes, plus a mirror to help with mask application. The hard surface makes keeping the kit clean as well.

Bought as a gift for my niece and she loves it!! Ours came in great condition, none of the marks that other buyers r mentioning. I later ordered my daughter a purple and green one and it is good as well. The girls love them and happily packed with all of their makeup. Nice to keep it all in one place vs all over the house. They leave them sitting on a low dresser so I can’t say how sturdy it is to haul around full all the time but works well for organizing and containment!
