Aran CraftsMen's Irish Cable Knitted Cardigan Sweater (100% Merino Wool)

After wearing this sweater around the house for several days, I have to admit I'm quite pleased with the materials, craftsmanship, design and sizing. Although made of wool, it's spun in such a way that it's not itchy at all. The fabric has enough loft to keep you warm and yet is loose enough to allow your body to ventilate if you get too warm. THAT was a pleasant surprise!The size guide was excellent, and my sweater fits perfectly.Be aware that this is a HAND WASH ONLY garment, but that's typical of wool garments of this type. The sweater is nice enough that I don't think I'm going to mind that at all.

It's very well made and comfortable. I highly recommend it to others. The only reason I took off one star is because it arrived with one of the buttons was missing. I can't find a matching button, so now I need to replace all of them.UPDATE: I updated my 4 to 5 stars. I sent a message to the seller about the missing button, and they fixed the problem quickly. I think it may be my favorite sweater now!

Husband's gift, well made, warm and a great color. Initially surprised at how much colored speckling there was but grew to love it quickly. Only issue I have is that the buttons and button holes were not lined up properly and there is a noticeable difference along the bottom

As I sit here on this brisk afternoon I can really appreciate the warmth this sweater provides. Great knit typical of the Irish cable knit sweater but it’s not bulky and yet it provides just the right comfort level. All I need know is a cup of hot tea! And a weesnort of Jameson!

This is my second sweater. The first started to unravel the weave, leaving holes. The second sweater buttons fell off!Not a quality item.

Good looking sweater with high quality merino wool. Unfortunately, runs quite small. I'm usually a men's 2XL in most sweaters, ordered a 3XL to be safe and it fits like a small 2XL. Sweaters like this should have a lot more room

It fits very well and the quality is superior.
