The light tubes in all probability worked--but when they were installed in the unit they were meant for (which was a difficult job, (but not the fault of the bulbs) which is why I took it to a shop), they did not light--and the service person told me they thought the problem was in the unit itself (bad circuit board)--so I had to return the lights since I was unable to use them--the actual purchase of the bulbs was the usual Amazon 5 star process--quick and efficient as always!

After about 6 months of use my wife and I were watching TV when we heard a popping sound I turned around and saw sparks coming out of the right side of the bulb where the 2-pins are and before I could get up to turn it off it hoped and sparked big time and then went out leaving bulb smoking which left the room with that burnt smell it went away but we are glad we were home.

Fits perfectly in the Aspectek 20 watt unit. As a matter of fact the original bulbs from this unit are the same name brand as this product. You can buy this without hesitation.

I was waiting for these lights tubes to come to install them hoping they have a better shining light to attract flies. Simply they did not work!!! This is not my first time to change light tubes so I know exactly how to change them. I tried them so many times they didn't work. I don't recommend any one to buy them.

I need these bulbs because I use them in my UV bug zapper. That's about as good as they get. They on average last a month or 2 before burning out.

It works fine in my bug zapper, but it really ought to last longer. Mine didn't even last 4 months. The original bulbs that came in the zapper lasted well over a year. At this rate, it's cheaper to simply buy another whole zapper when the bulbs fail.

One of the tubes was manufactured incorrectly. The end prongs were turned 45 degrees off center . . . This made it impossible to install.

If it were possible I would give them no stars or minus stars, Arrived broken with end metal separated. Not something that happens in shipping.
