Great Product only problem that when I ordered the pump it had a short delivery date but it turned out to be 10days longer and I needed the product quicker

Seems good so far.It has handled all the downpours we have been having with no problem since I installed it last month.... and it has been raining a lot!

And its easy to forget how an unexpected rain can quickly turn into a deluge if your property doesn't have a line of defense, we had a flooded basement once, now we always make sure we have pumps in working order, cheapest prevention to unreplaceable loss.... we test ours annually but thought to have a couple as backups since we want to be prepared. And grateful for the peace of mind.

I received this pump on August 22, 2020 and installed it to handle rain water. We did not get enough rain until Tropical Storm Beta started dropping 4 inches of rain on on September 21, 2020. On September 22, 2020 I checked on the pump but it was not pumping water. I found out the float was the problem. It is too stiff to operate and does not work. I immediately went online to Amazon.com but it states "Return window closed on September 21, 2020". I should have checked it yesterday when it was pouring down rain I suppose, but I did not think something so simple as a float would be a problem. I wonder if there is any way to get my money back. Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLC and they should be ashamed for not testing the pump before shipping it.
