No, thank God! I wouldn't know where to put a head shot in zombie moss. It just holds moisture well, but doesn't show any signs of regrowth.

Q: which would be better for a red eyed tree frog this sphagnum moss or the terrarium moss by zoo med?

The sphagnum moss would be best.

Q: Does this moss turn green when you add water to it? Or?

The green color you observe on spag moss is algae growth. The moss itself does not change color. If the conditions for algae are optimal, it will grow on the moss, yes.

Q: Is this good for adult tegus ?

I think it's good for all reptiles. I keep this is every tank I have. I don't know how much you would need for an adult sized enclosure, but it definitely helps with humidity.

True Newzealand sphagnum moss

Great quality moss. Beautiful strands mostly and hardly any twigs. Expensive but it is still worth it. Plus good seller - some confusion with delivery updates but gets delivered finally
