Perfect sturdy desk mount for full size DSLRs
I never leave reviews but this mount is very well built. It's much lighter than I expected but has zero issues holding up my Canon 80D with a chunky Sigma zoom lens. The desk clamp is well designed. It requires a minimal space behind the desk for installation - 1/4" at most. I was able to slide it into position from one end of the desk then tighten it down without having to pull the desk away from the wall. Fully extended, it places the bottom of the camera at around 24" off the desk which is perfect. You can see in my photo that it just peeks over the top of my monitor. Once everything is tight, nothing moves. As long as your desk is sturdy, you shouldn't have any wobbling issues. Ball head is super handy as well. Tightening levers/knobs are easy to use and even allow you to reposition them if you run out of space to tighten - just pull out on them. I was hesitant to buy because of the high price tag but I'm glad I did. Highly recommended!

Exactly what I was looking for!
I’ve been looking for a sturdy arm to use my Sony a7sii as a webcam for a long time. The first arm I tried was a cheap boom arm that couldnt hold the weight of my camera (FWI it has a heavy wide angle lens). I considered getting an Elgato arm but read that it wasnt worth it for the price. I ended up using a tripod as a mount for a long time but have since changed my setup and cant use it anymore due to lack of room on my desk. I found this arm and decided to give it a shot and so far I am very satisfied with it! I just set it up and it was not difficult at all and seems to be very sturdy. I was unable to mount it to my desk but that is at the fault of my desk and not the mount (my desk’s edges are not flat and instead are angled). I ended up mounting it on my monitor arm mount and it worked perfectly. The only complaint I have is the ball head attachment. I wish it was able to fully articulte but instead it can only articulte one way and if you want to move it a specific direction, you have to turn the entire ball head housing. A little annoying and not too terrible but I will probably look into getting a different ball head. Overall great first impressions!

Great camera mount and arm for using a large digital camera and lens as a webcam
I had been using a traditional Logitech webcam for professional meetings, etc. Even though that camera touts 4K image quality, the lenses on webcams just end up turning out a rough image.I wanted to leverage my digital camera to get a better quality image. I needed a mount that could attach to my desk and mount my camera of the top of my monitor. I have a large monitor (38" ultra wide LG), so I need something that could be positioned over that. This mount does it very well. The mount is very configurable, so it can position your camera in lots and lots of different positions. The tightening of joints is great. No slippage, even with a large payload extended out far. Everything is high quality and is very durable.

Sturdy and versatile
I attached this to a table edge and mounted a heavy Nikon camera on it for closeups. If properly tightened, it keeps a precise focus and position. It is expensive, but a cheaper one did not perform like this.

Heavy, high quality, and worth it.
I rarely write reviews, but this product deserves it! It is most impressive! It has a wide range of adjustability and once it is set, it stays put! It's the right tool for the job and is an absolute pleasure to use. It's not cheap, but it is solid metal and will last a lifetime!
