Gets the job done better than other hand wash devices
Works great for "hand washing" clothes. I have not had as much trouble with the head unscrewing as some folks have since I wrapped the metal threads with the same white plumbers tape you put on threaded pvc pipes. The handle seems a bit long at first, but I have tried a bunch of methods and settled on doing an underhand "chin-up" grip, holding the handle to my chest, and doing squats so my legs do all the work. I'm sure it would look goofy if the neighbors saw me doing that, but it's less likely to aggravate my hiatal hernia. I took people's advice and use this in a tall trash can rather than a flat tub, that way the water circulates around the clothes better. The third photo shows my (almost) complete clothes washing system: Moerman 88346 Y-Airer Indoor Folding Clothes Drying Rack (Up to 79 Feet Of Drying Space) Whitmor Pop and Fold Clothespin Bag HEGS Clothespin 18 Pack: As seen on SharkTank AU I intend to get a spin-dryer (probably theĀ The Laundry Alternative Nina Soft Spin Dryer, Ventless Portable Electric Dryer. 3 Year Warranty, 127V, 60 Hz ) as soon as I can afford it. This will make my clothes washing system complete.

Solid, useful, inexpensive, and it makes me feel like an independent pioneer!
Received this today and immediately washed a set of bed sheets. A 13 gallon waste basket is the perfect size to use as a tub, and regular laundry detergent works well. I soaked the sheets in hot water and laundry detergent for about 30 minutes, used the Ball Mobile washer for 1 minute, soaked for 20 minutes, used the washer for another minute. Then emptied the wash water, refilled with fresh, and after using the Ball washer for a minute, emptied and rinsed again, this time with fabric conditioner. After allowing the sheets to drain, I have hung them out to dry. Impressive! the sheets are CLEAN, it was fast, easy on the water bill, and cheaper than the laundromat. The washer is well made, sturdy, tall enough and I LOVE the flared handles--makes using it so much easier. It's a good little workout, too.I think the key is soaking, hot water, and good laundry detergent.A good investment, well made and sturdy, and a real boost to my sense of independence--I can have clean laundry when I want it without the hassle of hauling all that heavy stuff down to the laundromat. Yeah, nothing beats having your own washer and dryer but this is just great for a small, limited living situation. Thanks, Ball Mobile Washer!!

"Dolly Posser"
In England this was called a Dolly Posser. Dolly because all washer women were 'Dolly" and 'posser' means to punch or push down. This is far superior to the metal version because it will never rust. Just remember not to leave it out in the weather. If your tub is on the ground, this is the perfect height. If your tub is on a stand, it will be too long, get the version without the handle. Go to the website bestdryingrack for the rest of the stuff you'll need.

I love this thing!
I love this thing! We do all of our laundry by hand for our family of 8, so I decided to get a 2nd one of these because I loved the first one so much. Our first one though didn't have this T-shaped handle on it. We already loved it, but this handle makes it SO much better!!!! Otherwise it is exactly the same, if you are familiar with the original mobile washer. The entire T-shaped handle (everything that is blue) is that much bigger than the original handle, so you can stand straight up and not have to bend over to use it. It is very strong and not likely to break, IMO.My only gripe about the whole thing, and same with the original, is that the top of the washer/cone part where you screw in the handle comes apart easily. I don't think it's worth taking off a star though, I'm just going to glue it or figure out something. Right now we just try to remember to check it and tighten it every few minutes, so it doesn't come completely apart very much. These are so great for washing laundry by hand because it is vented. It forces the soapy water through the clothes, getting them very clean, while air comes out the top part. It give you a nice little workout, yet you don't really feel sore and worn out as you might think. It's nice! Even if you don't use this full time like we do, I would highly recommend it for camping or just for having as a back up if your washing machine is having problems or whatever. We may eventually get two more and have two full manual laundry setups! I've got one video up on YT using this a little, and I'm about to put up another one, so check out my channel to see these in use! YT >>> HalleluYah Homestead

and I go through the whole proccess in 5-15 mins depending how dirty and how heavy the clothes are
This is handy for washing a small load of socks, underwear, wool items, delicate tops and dresses, workout clothes, cleaning rags or other items that you want to wash separate but don't have enough of to make a full load to put in the washer. I use a 5-gallon bucket that I got for a few dollars at the home improvement store. I put it in the bathtub under the faucet, and I go through the whole proccess in 5-15 mins depending how dirty and how heavy the clothes are. Prior to drying (air or clothes dryer) I throw the clothes in the washer in the spin cycle, this gets excess water out. If the washer is being used I just hand-wring the clothes and then give them a good shake. As others mentioned the handle keeps loosening so while the plunger is submerged with the clothes i'll stop pumping and simply rotate the handle so it tightens and keep going. For storage I put it inside the 5-gallon bucket and put it all in the laundry closet.

A great product
I just tried this on my first load of wash. I used two five gallon pails, one for wash and one for rinse. The washing plunger did a fantastic job; it plunged with ease, and i found out the grip is also ergonomically made for one handed plunging as well as for two. After only a minute, I was sold on this method of washing. The water was dirtied so quickly makes me doubt the efficiency of my wifes washing machine. I used regular laundry soap and a bit of vinegar in the wash water.

GREAT HELP TO HAND WASHING
received your product promptly.i wasn't sure if it would swish around the clothing like it stated in the description, but it does pull up clothes from the bottom of the bucket when being used and moves everything around in order to work the water through the fabric.the only downside to the product is that the base loosens from the pole so that i need to keep stopping and turning it to tighten it up again.otherwise, this cool product has been very helpful with mundane hand washing since using it...thank you!
