Inserts are well made and having the correct size drill bit and a driver included in the kit was fantastic. They seem to be harder steel that some others I have used in the past. I have installed about 30 of these so far with no issues. The driver bit makes installation a snap.One thing to consider however, is that unlike some other inserts, these have neither slots cut in the tops nor will they accept a hex key. That means if you run them into a blind hole there is no way to remove them. I made the mistake of over driving one so that it was a little to far below the surface leaving me with no option other than to get a longer screw for it.

Inserts are good. Installation bit is just a partially threaded pin and can get jammed in the insert during installation, and is useless if you need to remove the insert from the wood too. The inserts have a slot which make them compatible with other installation bits. I recommend getting a slotted installation bit so that it doesn’t jam and so that you have the option to remove the insert.

Pros: inexpensive, worked great, included drill was a plus

m8 Grade of higher than 10 at least. The drill bit is very sharp and grabs very well. The bit to drill the inserts into the wood works as it should, but I wish these had a better/dual method, perhaps a hex+m8 threads? Sometimes the bit gets locked in the nut....

I must have if you want to make things that can be asamble and desasamble easy.

Worked threat for what I needed them for. Will buy again if need more.

Very easy to install and comes with a very sharp drill bit and a threaded bit to screw the insert into the wood.A small tip put a bit of WD 40 or oil on the end of the threaded bit so it doesn't bind with the insert.
