My wife had back surgery, and the hospital gave us Medipore and four-inch gauze pads to cover the wound with. Using a 4x8 strip of mediport to hold a 2x4 doubled over gauze bandage daily got old quick, and you could see the adhesive from the Medipore collecting on her back in large black areas. Alcohol and gauze pads worked, but you really had to rub to get the old adhesive off, and it left large red patches where you rubbed to remove the adhesive. We need some goo gone for skin. Something that didn't come with a warning about getting it in the wound, in your eyes, or using them in a well ventilated area.I ordered these pads and they took forever to arrive; long enough that I was able to find a local supplier for the same product before they did arrive. But once I got them, the first time I used these pads, it made my wife happy. "Happy wife, happy life". No doubt about it, all I had to do was gently rub the areas where the old adhesive was at and the old adhesive practically fell off. The first cleaning required two pads.It is obvious what adhesive is being cleaned up both on the pad and on the skin when you do use them, and no red patches when your done. It even removed the wound protectant the surgeon sprayed on her back on the skin around the suture. Don't rub it on the suture, and do it after removing the old bandage and before taking a shower. Since I had to change the bandage daily, I did the gentle rubbing and cleaning for three days in a row before I got everything cleaned up. After that we switched to silicone bandages, and the amount of adhesive left on the skin was reduced to almost nothing. I still clean the area covered by the silicone bandage, but I get hardly any adhesive from the silicone bandages, and the silicone bandage adhesive is in contact with100% of the skin covered by the bandage.BTW, giving adhesion five stars can be and probably is a little misleading, unless you understand that there is almost no adhesive left after properly cleaning the skin with these pads.

Worked well however there was not much moisture in each cloth so we had to use several to get one bandage off.

The wipe is very soft and gentle on the skin. It really helps remove adhesive from the skin, even the sticky film you can't see with the naked eye. I think it could have a little bit more solution in the wipe. It does feel dry and sometimes have to use a little of their spray product to help. That's the reason for 4 star instead of 5.
