Thanks for writing.  For the Odor-B-Gone to work effectively, it needs to reach the source Of the odor. When the odor remains, it usually means it hasn’t reached the source of the odor. In carpets the source is often deep into the pile, or into the backing, or even through the backing to the floor or padding beneath. We have customers who have told us the have actually pierced the backing of the carpet to allow the solution to penetrate deeper, and that this has been successful for them. I would suggest you do repeated applications to get to the source of, and eliminate, the odor you are experiencing. Will it get rid of moth ball smell?  I have aired out clothes for 2-3 weeks, even washed them 3-4 times using vinegar. *ugh*

You may try spraying the clothing liberally with the Odor-B-Gone. We also have customers who regularly use it with their wash cycle to freshen and remove odors from pet blankets, etc. They use about a cup right in with their regular laundry detergent. Will probably remove any vinegar odor as well.
