Works well and very qUiet
This product has excellent reviews, and a good number of them. The construction appears to be solid, and the unit works flawlessly upon installation. No vibration, extremely quiet, and a direct fit .Amazon saved the day with one day delivery, which in reality came in about 12 hours, so there was no food spoilage. Of course longevity and durability are determining factors when purchasing these motors, so I am hoping this motor will last. At this point I would highly recommend it.

Almost Five Stars
So far, this has proven to be a very good replacement fan for my ancient Hotpoint refrigerator. It is quiet and moves plenty of air. Installation was easy enough except for the electrical connector. This connector was not an exact fit for its counterpart in the refrigerator. The plastic pin covers were a bit too long for easy hand connection. I ended up squeezing the two connectors together using a pair of pliers in order to effect a good connection. Other than that, I am pleased with this fan.

Excellent replacement for the original fan motor - so far, so good
Through trial and error I was finally able to determine that the fan motor in my GE refrigerator was the culprit in not keeping the fridge compartment cold while the freezer was below zero. Every time I checked the unit the old fan was running so I checked other components first to rule them out. Then, the motor was either making loud noises or not running when it should so I realized the motor was the problem. This new replacement unit is as hefty as the OEM part but actually looks of higher quality - of course I can't see the guts of the thing to see how it is built but....Anyway, the fit was perfect and the replacement job was super easy. It's now running quietly and keeping the fridge at a proper temp.I saw some other complaints about units not working or failing after a short time so hope this doesn't happen to me. If it does, I'll post a follow-up (if that's possible).Bottom line - it works and the cost was very good.

Junk
When I received this motor the back cover had fallen off because the hot melt glue that was holding it to the component side of the circuit board gave way. Yes. That's right. They were using hot melt to hold the back cover in place by gluing it to the component side of the circuit board. Never the less I placed the back cover back on the body of the motor and installed it using the fan's brackets to not only hold the motor in place but also to hold the back cover on. The motor worked... for five seconds...then died. Sometimes it's better to buy OEM (original equipment manufacturer). I then did this...three times the price of course... but the motor works. I hope this review saves others my frustration.

Works as expected
Works as expected and has been significantly quieter than my previous (original) motor. It was easy to replace with a few tools and I had no issues with fitment or included wiring harness.

Direct replacement, perfect fit.
Rental house fridge not cooling, freezer working perfectly. Brief troubleshooting revealed evaporator fan had died. Quick search of part numbers, order placed. Arrived quickly and went right in. Fridge back in operational temp range by that evening.Shopped scratch and dent fridges while waiting for part. A tiny ‘college’ fridge, with a dent, was $545. Let’s go, Brandon.Save yourself a ton of cash: YouTube your model, find that part number and put it in yourself. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
