One suggestion I used...double sided command (product name) adhesive strips, which are very thin and are unnoticeable to you, but can keep it in place and are easily removed without damage to your surface or the bottom of the pad.The best part? The beveled edges. I had the original thick cloth mouse pads that, after hours at my computer, made my wrist hurt from laying on the sharp edge. Some mouse pads have plastic edges that really hurt after time. Even using gel pads hurt because they keep your wrist at a bad angle. This pad is super thin and has beveled (rounded) edges that do not cause pain from having your wrist laying on it for long periods. The metal is cool and actually soothing to your wrist. Being made 100% of metal, it's not going to break if dropped and doesn't collect dirt, hair or lint and is easy to wipe off if it does get spilled on. No cloth to curl up at the edges or stain, no plastic to crack. Nice looking mousepad that performs well. I was worried that the surface might be too reflective to work with optical/laser mouses but I had no tracking problems with the mouses I tested. The pad is very thin and light but the bottom rubber surface provides enough friction that it does not slide around during use. The texture of the surface is very fine and feels pretty smooth to the touch, mouses glide with very little effort.Being constructed from aluminum has it's pros and cons. It is very easy to clean and does not get worn and dirty the same way a cloth pad does. But there is a little sound when the mouse glides over it, it is slight and not an issue for me. The size is good for a small desk or workspace but may be too small for gamers that use a lower sensitivity setting. This is a very cool looking mousepad that has held up well so far.

Yea as another review before me stated i will never go back to traditional mousepads that get dirty, roll up and bend and are hard to clean. THIS THING IS AMAZING OUT THE BOX! Blows all other mousepads I have ever used out of the water easily. It is sleek and refined looking, the mouse glides ever so smoothly and from the appearance hard to get dirty and very easy to clean. If you are pondering purchasing this mousepad DONT! Just do it you wont regret it it is AMAZING! I rarely leave reviews for anything but when I get such an amazing product I gotta let everybody know its a thumbs up and this is two thumbs up. very happy with my purchase.

This is not the greatest mousepad. There are scratching sounds when you move the mouse across the surface. I would not buy it as a mousepad, it is, however, a great coaster for an end table.***Update: I received a great email from their customer service apologizing for the scratching sounds and offering me some different options including a full refund. I actually really like the two I purchased as coasters. they are stylish, subtle and work well for coffee or tea cups that are piping hot. I really appreciate the nice email and raised my review by a star, but I am happy with the product repurposed as i have it.

I was looking for a very specific need for my studio. I have a Kronos workstation and the way I have my third monitor placed when I am sight reading etc I needed my mouse to literally be on the keyboard. I had a manual there so I started looking for a soft mousepad as I dont want to scratch the finish of the keyboard. Then out of the blue while looking for a specific size one I came across this in silver. Same day and free returns and good price? Duh. So when it arrived I had no idea it was firm. Like no flex. So my initial thought was like crap this is not going to work. Turns out it was PERFECT! And it matches the finish of my kb. Could not be happier. This really was an unexpected happiness with the product. I highly recommend this. :) To me this is probably the nicest mouse pad I have ever owned. Usually you don't even need them anymore but this is just cool.

The aluminium mouse mat looks great; I bought it to match my iMac and hardware accessories. It comes in a good size, I have to use the mouse mat in a vertical position just so I can free up more space on my computer desk. The mouse mat has an excellent non-slip grip which sticks to the surface. My mouse is highly responsive however I get this annoying scratching sound when moving it around. You get used to it after a while, this is something I'm going to have to put up with just for the sheer fact that it looks slick. Overall the build quality is good, it's easy to clean

UPDATE: Pad is already showing signs of wear. The middle of the pad (where my mouse is primarily used) is starting to show scratches and discoloration like the finish is wearing off. I'm pretty bummed it hasn't held up longer than this. I'd give it 6 months before it gets too ugly to use.TL;DR: Pad slides a little, but mouse glides smoothlyI love this. Color is a light gold- I almost thought I had gotten silver by mistake when I unwrapped it. Nice and subtle- not glaringly gold. I don't mind the scratching noice at all, but, then again, I had been using my mouse directly on my desk and it made the same noise. I use a Magic Mouse 2 from Apple, and it glides well on this. I do find that the pad slides a bit on my desk- I wish it were a bit grippier on the bottom. Overall I've very happy with the product and would definitely purchase again. I also like the angled cut sides that give it a silver-y outline.

This is a great size. Grinds a bit on the shiny side but still works great. I would bu6 another, very sturdy and slim.

Looks great but the loud noise it makes when a mouse is moving on it makes it impossible for me to like it.

I never tried them, didn’t measure themBought Gold, and Rose Gold from same companyWhat I liked: they feel nice, the bezel is sleek and adds sophistication to the piece, the faux leather back is soft and textured to help “grip” surfaces.What I didn’t like: colours are so far off - the rose gold is just straight metallic pink, the gold is barely gold at all, it looks more silver.Overall quite a shame neither is even close to being gold or rose gold.

Don't believe the dimensions. I was looking for a 6 inch mouse pad. This is the standard 7 inch. UGH! Why lie???
