GSC Gymnastics Tumbling Foam Mat

I had purchased a 8 x 8 yoga mat for my Rushfit DVD workout and in 2 days realized it was not up for any real fitness programs. I flipped thru all the mats on amazon and decided on this one and glad i did. This thing is built to last. I honestly dont see any way to wear this thing out. When doing my mountain climber exercize this thing just pushed back and said "Give me some more!". I am 100000% satisfied with this mat. It does have a bit of a chemical odor at first. I opened it in the garage and left it there for a day. After each workout i spray it with Lysol and wipe it down. I know the odor will eventually go away. Not a big deal.This thing has TONS of padding and is built to last. Buy with confidence! Its worth the price!

These mats are a great addition to any dojo, these are tough they take a real pounding and protect you and your students very well. I do break falls, rolls, take downs, even body slams on these and they absorb the impact so well that I hardly notice it. I have a friend that has a karate school and her mats I feel the impact from, these are 2" thick soft foam. Now you will sink into these some (so they are not as firm) but when you are thrown you want soft not firm anyway. I use these at home so I don't have to exercise on the floor.They are a little large for what I need, but that is not the mats fault.They are comfortable, fold to slide out of the way when not in use, and are easy to keep clean.One night, my wife was not comfortable on our mattress, and slept on these mats instead.I joined her, and have to say I prefer to sleep on these mats than our bed.Maybe I can get mats made the size of our bed, and replace our matress with these mats!Great product, and well made.If for personal use I'd suggest 2x8 is probably big enough, and more convenient.

These are great mats I highly recommend, I use these in my Karate school, I can take hard falls and slams and not get hurt. I use these when teaching Jiu-Jitsu to my students. These take all Take downs, Throws, and Rolls no problem.These are high quality I have a set of two, the first one I bought only had Velcro on two sides this has it on four sides I solved that by buying some industrial strength hold Velcro and cutting it in 4 one foot strips and made my first one three sided Velcro so now these can stay together to form a nice 8' by 8' square.Highly recommend!Sensei Wade C.

My daughter is in Level 4 gymnastics, this mat has been useful for her. She always brings it out when her friends come over. Because I have amazon prime I was able to get this shipped very quickly, otherwise I may not have bought due to the shipping cost.

The one I got isn't yellow and blue... it's all blue (which I like much better). It's sturdy! That means it's also heavy. My kids use it for gymnastics at home and for playing the Wii dance games... it helps to reduce stress on their feet jumping on our hardwood floors. Great product and worth the money.

This is a great mat for a home gym. We purchased it for our daughter who wanted a mat to practice her gymnastics on... it's very well made and great for our home gym as well.

Hoped for the same color as above, but all blue probably is better for room decor. Great addition to the girls room to play with and get exercise on! :) Thank you.
