These are only knee socks if they are on a toddler or shorter child. On my (tall) six year old they are mid-calf at best. They do have a nice seam at the toe, very flat and not likely to irritate the toes inside a shoe. But they don't stay up, and they definitely aren't long enough to be knee socks.

Great socks!!! They material seems good to me. I feel if its cold on Halloween she will be warm. But she will be wearing stockings as well so ......purpose served on our end!! She is a short 10 year old.....they don't go to her knees but I am glad they don't

Unfortunately a bit thin and wouldnt reccomend for sports my daughter ripped through them her forst day of play.

I purchased these for my 6 yr old who wears size 12.5 little kid shoes because I could not find a soccer sock that fit him appropriately. These socks fit perfectly and serve the purpose. They would also look adorable on my daughter with skirts or dresses.

I didn't buy these for a child. The arms on my mobility cart need covers and these fit perfectly. They are just the right size and very soft. I imagine they are comfy as socks, too, because they feel nice against my arms.

Instanly made my kid into Sponge Bob... He's 9, shoe size 12. He's on the smaller side for his age. Fits him pretty well
