Beautiful yarn
This red sparkley yarn is beautiful and very nice to work with. It is very soft. Made scarves for my grandchildren. They loved the vivid color and sparkles.

My Go To Acrylic
I've been using this yarn for a few years now. Usually to make amigurumi. It's soft and easy to work with. Yes sometimes it does snag, especially with inline styles, but still a very good yarn. I am currently making a dice bag with it, will post how that turns out (knitting though.)Caron has recently started (at least with these recent purchases,) to leave the end out so you don't have to dig for it. I have never had any issues with this yarn. Like my title says it is my go to acrylic, not just this one but the entire Caron line.

Very soft
I like buying this yarn. I have purchased in three colors. The value pack is a great savings. Three skeins in one package. Yarn is very silky soft. Colors are bright and beautiful.

Extremely soft, washes up beautifully.
I made an afghan as a present for someone and it washed up so beautifully (inside a huge mesh laundry bag) that I was tempted to keep it! I did not need to block the afghan when completed, which is always good. However, I must say that this Caron brand yarn drove me kinda crazy, since it separates continuously when you're working with it. You have to make sure it doesn't twist, otherwise you'll spend half your time trying to keep it from getting stringy. I spent $5.66 on each skein, which I consider a decent price point, considering the pretty colors and softness. This self-striping Spring Brook "Paints" color was the main color of the afghan; the solid contrast color also separated, so I guess it's endemic to their "Simply Soft" line of yarns. If you have some patience then try this yarn, it's so soft you won't believe it.

Consistently a good choice
I've crocheted for the past decade and have admittedly become a bit of a yarn snob over the years. The caron simply soft line has always been a go to for me, it's soft yet doesn't have an issue with splitting when working with it. The colors are always vibrant and as expected, it's just a good quality yarn and I'd recommend it to anyone *especially* a beginner. 🙂
