simplehuman 4.5 Liter / 1.2 Gallon Round Bathroom Step Trash Can, Polished Stainless Steel

I had bought one at Target and liked it, so I bought a second one on Amazon. The added bonus was it was $10.00 less expensive than Target. These are small enough to not be in the way, but large enough for a few days of trash in our motorhome. The other nice thing about theses trash cans are that the bottom is made out of a material which seems to be non skid. We leave these in the motorhome without stowing them before travel and they are still in the same spot several hours later after a day of travel. I would recommend this trash can. I also purchased the “A” bags that it uses. They look more neat and clean than putting a plastic grocery bag in it.

Wanted a small trash can to be out of site for the bathroom. This is perfect and actually opens with plenty of room. Have had a simplehuman kitchen trash can for years and the quality is always good. Nice to not have to bother going down the "rabbit hole" because the quality is tried and true.

Perfect for the bathroom. For me it seems to hold a lot. I Don’t even use the trash liners. Just pull out bucket and empty in the bigger trash container. If the liner gets dirty, just rinse it out. I like that it’s covered so when you see it you don’t see the trash, gives a more clean appearance with out the trashy look

I use this for cat litter. It is perfect to place in a corner. Very neat and easy to open. Ideal for what I need. Bought a few. Would buy again and recommend.

Lining with BOS Amazing Odor Sealing Cat Waste Disposal Bags for litter box cleanup. Small footprint, tidy, controls odor. No prob with tipping. Honestly, originally seemed a bit pricey but highly recommended by a fellow cat parent. For my purposes, well worth the price to keep my office tidy.

I just love coming across this 4.5 liter (1.2 gallon), mini round step, touchless trash can. It fit my needs perfectly, I was looking for a compact trash can that I could put on top of my dryer, so I could dispose of the dryer lint and this item was it. The can comes with a removable inner plastic bucket (which you can line with bags purchased at a dollar store), it is fingerprint proof, with brushed stainless steel finish, it also has a nonskid base, and best of all a 10 year warranty (I taped my receipt to the back of the can). I would highly recommend this item to anyone considering on purchasing it, (I take time to do product reviews after as many purchases as I can, help keep me doing them by rating my review) hope this review and the pictures attached are helpful to you in making your purchasing decision.Also keep these in each bathroom in the house next to the toilets as they’re the perfect size for small places.

I like this trashcan for its medium size. It fit the space I have perfectly, although I did take a screwdriver and remove the handle on the back of the can so that it could fit more flushly against the wall. I'm not sure if that is normal or expected but the handle is certainly unnecessary so I'm glad it was easy to remove and I was able to invert the screws and put them back in reverse to fill the screw holes, in the case I change my mind in the future. All that said - 5 stars (so far) unless anything changes. Thanks simplehuman.

It does it's job of holding trash.

This is a premium product. Honest. Bought this in 2015 and I have updated this in June 2019 with a photo of the base of the 10 ltr version.One of those purchases where you don't feel slightly disappointed with the construction, presentation or some other issue.I read many of the reviews here before purchase and I was not let down.I particularly like the appearance, the solid 'kick' of the foot pedal, and the way everything fits so it keeps very clean in operation.As you can see in the uploaded photo, there are two rubber feet on the bottom and the bin sits on these plus about half of the bottom plastic circumference.Very happy!

Bought this bin to replace my old worn out one. Not the cheapest of bins but I liked the fact that the brushes stainless Steele is fingerprint proof which I was sceptical about but I was proved wrong. This is a lovely little bin which fits nicely in a small space. Very sturdy with a strong pedal and soft close lid which is lovely. And as a bonus comes with a starter pack of liners.

I love this bin. After making do with a tiny IKEA bathroom bin for years, it finally occurred to me that I could do something about it. This can fit in about 6-8 times as much rubbish, and still doesn’t take over my tiny bathroom! It’s also really smart. Am still using the free liners that came with it, will probably supplement these with regular bin liners here and there, when I run out.

Simplehuman bins are pretty much the best so I chose this to replace an ageing bathroom bin. The two-tone white and steel looks great in a bathroom setting and although these bins are pricey you get a premium product which stands the test of time and makes your home look better.

Agree with all the 5 star reviews. This bin not only works perfectly and looks very sturdy but its a lovely object. Because of the flat back it sits neatly against the end of the units in my small kitchen. My last bin was a Brabantia 12 litre pedal bin & lasted 8 years but the pedal broke (as they do). My only concern was that this new one might be a bit too small but its perfect for our needs. There are only two of us and we recycle as much as possible as well as composting. It arrived on Monday morning and was put into use, it's now Wednesday and it's nowhere near full. Great buy.
