Adult Coloring Book: Midnight Edition: 29 Animal Designs for Stress Relief (Unibul Press Coloring Books)

I am already in love with this coloring book; the variety of gorgeous animal illustrations are accentuated beautifully by their black backgrounds. The images are well done and all 29 designs are unique. Some images are of the whole animal, while some are only of their top half. A few of the animals are also accompanied by flowers, plants or even cartoon stars. All of the lines are clear, bold and purposeful; never did I have trouble figuring out what something was or where it went. Also, the black background on every page is completely solid and my book had no problems with any fading or misprints that were reported in another review.The paper is quite thick and the white areas are a beautiful bright white, making this a wonderful coloring book to use a large variety of mediums on. Colored pencils go on marvelously and are a pleasure to blend on the paper’s smooth surface. Markers and gel pens look stunning, but you will definitely still want to put an extra sheet of paper behind what you’re working on to protect the next image from their leaking through, even with the single sided pages.The only negatives I have come across is that the pages of this colouring book are not perforated and the image sometimes runs into the crease, meaning it is not always all that easy to color the images or remove the pictures to make things simpler. This is a shame, because the images are so exquisite when colored that you will definitely want to display them around your house. This is quite something considering this book is so inexpensive. For that reason and all the other positives mentioned in this review, I definitely recommend this coloring book to everyone!

I initially bought thinking I would be coloring on black paper since have a lot of light colored pencils. Outline of animals & birds on white paper surrounded by black paper.I am still enjoying coloring in this book. I like a variety of things to color. Find it relaxing.

I really like this color book. The pictures have just enough detail to allow some blending and not be overwhelming. It is printed on one side of nice quality paper. I like the black backgrounds. The pictures are fun. But, the pages aren't perforated and they are hard to remove without tearing. I would have given it 5 stars if the pages were perforated.

This is my first adult coloring book. I was really drawn to the black background and animal-themed nature of this book, and have been quite happy with it since. Some of the pictures are beautiful but intimidating. I wish there were more "entry-level" pictures, but the selection is really gorgeous and it's worth the patience to work on them. My favorite images are the less common animals, like the baboon, vulture, and turkey. Very cool, lots of selection, but I would suggest it more for experienced color artists.

I received this book on Thursday and completed my first “masterpiece” Saturday night. I love the results and had so much fun doing it. Some of the pictures aren’t as inspiring as I would have wished but I am very happy with it.

This is a nice book. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought the paper was a bit too thin and some of the pictures were a bit confusing. Otherwise, this book is fun and I enjoyed coloring in it.

Absolutely love this coloring book. I wanted a black background coloring book to bring out the vibrant colors of gel pens, and this book fits the bill beautifully. The images are creative and well fleshed out. The paper is a bit thin and curls easily if the ink is too wet, but that does not take away at all from the beauty of the book. Very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend for anyone looking for a Midnight coloring book.

When I first I saw this book I felt in love. Once I received the book, I felt like there was something missing. i think more intricacy or difficulty. It is a great book for beginners.

Been looking for a colouring book with black pages for so long. Good quality prints & paper, single sided & no 'bleed' through. I completed this with sharpies....well happy.Highly Recommended!

Good quality stress relief colouring book with beautiful pictures. The black background really makes the colours stand out and with good quality paper there is no bleed through to the pages following.

Bought for my daughter to try to get her to sit down. Don't know that that has worked! But she did like the idea and the pictures inside.

Just received my adult colouring book. All the creatures are brilliantly drawn. Will be buying this again for my friends. FANTASTIC!!!

Bit disappointing, a lot of the pictures are very simplistic and more suitable for kids
