This Should Be On Your Shortlist
For many years I have worked in a profession where both for safety and legal reasons its essential that I use a hands free blue tooth earpiece for mobile communication. I have purchased and used many different earpieces from different manufacturers over the years. So after purchasing a new mobile phone that was Andriod 11 I discovered that my blue tooth earpiece was incompatible. After much research and comparisons at a certain price point I decided to purchase this Fimitech model. So I would like to share with other potential customers my thoughts and impressions of this product. When the product arrived I was surprised that it was so well packaged in a neat box that was easy to open. Inside the box I was presented with a easy to follow instructions; a small compact hard plastic protective case containing the earpiece; a small bag with 5 different sized rubber ear plugs/seals and a short micro usb charging cable. I must say, I was honestly surprised that at this price point so many accessories were included. The usual from other manufacturers is the earpiece and a charging cable. The protective case in particular really caught my attention, although plastic it has a nice brushed effect on it and will protect the earpiece well from knocks and bumps. Due to its slim and elegant form factor it would easily fit in shirt/trouser pockets or for lady users, handbags. If there were any criticisms at this stage I would say that the lettering on the instructions was very small and the usb cable was very short, but this may just be a function of my eyesight, and most people will usually have several longer micro usb cables anyway.Turning to the design of actual unit. This is a very nice looking unit and seems to be well constructed. For want of a better expression its banana shaped and has a black metal upper panel into which are placed three silver plastic control buttons (vol +/ - and Google Assist/ Siri) and a micro usb charging slot with a black plastic cap. The rest of the main unit is coated with a soft black rubber coating that has a nice feel to it. At the end of the unit is the actual earpiece which is a shiny black plastic housing with a silver plastic control button. The whole earpiece assembly can be pulled out approx 5mm to allow for size adjustment and rotated 180 degrees for use on the left or right ear. There is also a nice stretch flexibility between the earpiece assembly and the main unit which aids in holding the unit in place on the ear. I would say that its design and construction materials make it very comfortable to wear and use. I personally use / wear it for up to 12-13hrs (whilst wearing glasses and a mask) and forget its on my ear until taking or making a call. My only criticism of this units design is the plastic cap that covers the charging port. Although its a real bonus that there is a protective cap (as many blue tooth earpieces at this price point don't have them) it is rather easy to dislodge / open when using the upper control buttons. As a suggestion, replacing this with a softer rubber version would aide in a more secure moisture resistant fit that wasn't so easily opened by accident.Functionality and call quality.Pairing the unit with my mobile phone was very easy as per instructions. The Vol +/- control buttons work well during calls or playing various type of media like music or watching films. Using the AI button for Google Assist to make calls etc (on Andriod) worked well but your phone has to be unlocked for it to work. The instructions also state that the AI button works with Apple mobiles but I've not tested this. The same button also serves as a mute button, a feature that I've not seen before at this price point. Similarly the call answer / stop call, call last number and shutdown button on the earpiece works flawlessly.Call quality is very good with clear voices and very little to no ambient external sound intrusion. People whom I have spoke to whilst using the unit have reported very good clear sound levels with no interference.Blue tooth range and battery life is very close to what is advertised. The enclosed instructions leaflet states 33 feet free / open space. I found that this to be about 30, feet so fairly accurate. This drops down to about 15 - 20 feet indoors as expected but really depends on the buildings construction. Battery life was also fairly accurate for standby mode at just over 7 days compared to 7.5 days in leaflet. I've not had a 10hr conversation or played music for 8hrs but feel fairly confident that it will be close to the stated values.Other media capability.Using the unit for sound whilst watching films and listening to music on my phone (or a tablet) was acceptable voices were clear and concise. Midrange and high transients were well represented but there was a certain lack of fine detail and bass extension. Since this units primary function is for voice communication I wouldn't expect it to perform like a pair of blue tooth headphones / buds optimised and designed for listening to music etc, but it did perform adequately with an acceptable sound. In summary then : In my opinion this blue tooth earpiece is a nice looking, well constructed, easy to use and very comfortable to wear. It represents good design features and value for money at this price point. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would give it an overall 9/10. If your looking for a blue tooth earpiece at this price point then this unit should definitely be high up on your shortlist.

comfortable and effective
bought this unit as i recently took up riding a pushbike and it was a pain continually stopping to answer the phone in my pocket. it arrived super speedily and well packaged. Love the little case that it comes with to protect it while not in use, a very nice touch i think. having tried the various different size earpieces, found the one that fitted best and proceeded to link to my iphone. this took about 20 seconds and was exceedingly easy. next came the testing, tried playing a bit of music, which was lovely, a nice clear sound that wasn't tinny, the volume buttons were nice and responsive (had to turn it down as originally i set it at full volume and it was way too loud), and enjoyed the track i listened to. Found the headset to be really comfortable to wear and after a few minutes didn't really notice that it was there. now for the main function i bought it for, telephone calls. Rang my son using siri, and the mic was very responsive, unlike some i have had in the past, i didn't have to repeat myself to get the headset to respond, it activated first go. the conversation was clear, crisp and my son heard everything i said clearly, while his responses were also nice and clear with no signs of interference or breakup. kept the headset on playing some music while i went upstairs to do something and suffered no interference or loss of signal, even when i was 2 floors up. overall i would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a decent bluetooth headset for their phone, as i find it to be one of the best i have ever had. It's also not drastically expensive which is an added bonus.

Comfortable and stylish
I've been using this product for about a month now and I do actually find it quite comfortable and easy to use. When I was researching to replace by Jabra, with so much choice on the market, I was confused, unsure and a bit sceptical. When I read the reviews by another user, I thought I'd give these a go.Overall, I am really happy with this product. It is easy to connect, it is comfortable and the sound is clear. It is quick to charge (less than an hour) I drive all day, for a living, so it has to be comfortable for me, particularly as I am also a glasses user.I hardly notice that it is in my ear, once it is being worn. The only negatives I can find, are that there is no indication of how long the talk time is or of the battery running low and it does not do last number redial by pressing the answer button twice, as most others do. I have to redial manually or use voice commands.Overall, would I recommend it?YES!!
