ALS Flower Pouch, 10 Hole, 10 Pack

Love the results! This is my first season using these pouches. Experimenting with regular and Wave petunias. Both are working well and growing quickly. From other sites and my own experience with more than a dozen pouches over the last couple of months, I have found:- Wave petunias (from Home Depot) typically have larger root balls and are more difficult to insert, but fill in faster than regular petunias- Using narrow tongs helps to keep the root ball in tact when placing in the pouch- Water and fertilize slowly and repeatedly - excess will drain from the bottom, so I wait a few minutes and then repeat- Skip the bottom two holes - trailing plants will cover this area anyway, the bottom plants are at risk of excess moisture and insufficient sun light- Next planting, I will pack the bottom of the bags to the first holes with either peat moss or coco mat for better drainageIn short, the pouches are very durable, versatile, and cost effective. They're a great starting point for incredibly creative and dramatic garden displays. Hope this is helpful.

I've bought these before at the store with the flowers in them. $15 bucks or so each and they grew into huge "balls" of flowers. If you enjoy gardening like I do, save some bucks and experiment with these. I've grown cherry tomatos and cucumbers in mine and it works ! ( see pic ) Good if your pressed for space. ( vertical garden ? ) Just know, they drain so you will need to use more peat and water more often than a container.

Love these hanging pouches! They can be re-used year after year too. This year, I hung two pouches per column on my front patio. Everyone in my neighborhood compliments my hanging flowers and the bunnies can't eat them. Perfect!

Nothing to dislike about the Al's Flower Pouches. You can fill them with good soil, and stuff in the flowering plants and creeping Jenny plants and water them, hang them on trees, or posts or sides of the house and watch them flourish and fill up and grace your yard and house with magical like pouches of lovely color and plant life. So very clever and unique.

It looks great on my fence but is a little tricky to fill. After doing 4 of them per the instructions I did the 5th by not putting as much soil in then after putting the flowers in carefully put in more soil.

I had seen these pre-planted in the stores around home but I wanted to select my own color combination of flowers. They arrived quickly with no issues. I planted 6 of these and have them hanging from the fence posts. They look amazing! They feel strong enough that I believe I should be able to reuse these for a few years before having to replace.

Very strong material. I have used these for years and they always hold up under the weight of the dirt, plants. and water. They hang on my fence posts and very attractive. I have used impatience as well as vinca and they always do well. Extremely pretty when in full bloom--you can't see the bags so they look like floating balls of flowers!
