Had a full day with it fit ok light and was not hard on my feet

So far so good. Fit as expected. Will update when I hit the swamp for fishing. Then I'll know how waterproof they are.

I put them on feels very good and also feels like they definitely would protect from a snake bite! I where a 10.5 boot and size fit very well...

Good quality and comfortable. It seems to be strong enough for snake protection.

I have only tried them on but they fit a size bigger.

I am female, I buy men’s boots because I have wide feet and bunions and I am a text book of foot problems. Men’s are wider and they fit much more comfortable on me. I sometimes wear a woman’s 9.5 but more often a 10. I wear a men’s 7.5 sometimes but usually an 8, especially in boots. I got a men’s 8 and they are perfect with plenty of toe room with socks. These don’t hurt me at all, I didn’t even find there was a break in period. I wore them on my mountain trail and even climbing uphill for over an hour I was fine! I love the side zipper, I can adjust it just right with the high lacing, double knot it and then just use the zipper, easy on and off too. They are sturdy, substantial boots with a tough material. Excellent for avoiding briars and poison ivy which is everywhere here in North Georgia and peace of mind when encountering yellow jackets and a copperhead or rattler occasionally. They have great thread, I didn’t slide even going downhill on wet leaves. I stood in my dogs kiddy pool for several minutes and I was dry. Even after doing that, water still beaded up on these very well and the water never penetrated to the inside, even after another hour of wearing them. The toe box is nice and rounded and rigid for great protection and wide so your does don’t squash on the sides. They are really well made too, seriously heavyweight material, double stitching all over, metal lacing and a heavy YKK high quality brass zipper. There is an indented area on the back of the heel to easily hold one down with the other to pull your foot out or to catch a boot jack. I don’t think I’ve had a pair of boots that were so perfect right out of the box. Even my twice as expensive Keens hurt my toes. I can’t say enough about these, you get a whole lot for the money and I absolutely recommend them. I love these snake boots!

From the stitching to the soles, these boots are well suited for inclement weather, hunting or just as muck boots. They have an aggressive tread for traction.I just received them so I haven’t had a chance to break them in too much. Winter just passed so I may revise this review later. I will say that they run true to size. I like the Easy On/Off side zipper once you get them to the tightness you like. The upper portion of the boot is flexible and does not rub on your leg when walking. We literally live in the swamp in the south where we have water and venomous snakes everywhere so snakeboots are a must in the warmer months (basically 9 months out of the year). I got these for my husband and he loves them. They are a little different in that there is a zipper on the side along with lacing in the front, but that just means that they are more adjustable and he hasn't found them too difficult to get them on/off. He has very wide feet and the toe box is wide or large enough to make his little hobbit feet comfortable and they are very comfortable for walking and wading through mud and swamp water. They protect him well from briars, especially cat briars which are the worst. So far, he hasn't had a venomous snake try to bite him, but I like the extra protection that these boots provide--much better than his usual rubber boots. He likes the thick treads since they keep him from slipping in the mud (although I'm not so thrilled with the way the mud sticks in between the treads especially when he forgets and wears his muddy boots in the house). Overall, these are great boots for wet swampy environments where there is a risk of encountering venomous snakes.
