High quality white pens
Honestly this set is perfect with different mediums and the ink comes out smooth, it was perfect for anime highlights and glaring,I don’t know what people we’re complaining about, honestly they probably didn’t know how to use it because they didn’t follow the instructions and probably ruin it, that’s why I always read the instructions because each materials are different and you gotta follow what it says, yes ink does come out a lot for one of them but that can be adjusted, just face up the white brush pen up instead of downwards so the ink can flow back down the cartridge to stable the balance of ink but if you keep twisting it then obviously your going to waste ink, now I noticed you can’t twisted back to reduce the ink flow but that’s okay, you just have to balance it by twisting it little by little so you get the right balance of ink, if you do spill the ink by an accident, just whipe it off with a paper towel, honestly it’s not that bad or difficult, I’ve been art for 30 years so I know how to use different materials, there not that much different lol

Great!
I'm new to this and had to read up a little. These are in my Urban drawing travel kit. White is indispensable.

Solid Tools
Worked pretty well for what I needed them for. One of the pens uses an ink that gets easily absorbed, so if used on dark surfaces it won't show up unless you're using multiple applications of it. However, this can be used as-is if you don't want stark white. Long-term, I'll have to see if the white link shows signs of discoloration. But for sketching and non-archival work: this was a solid purchase.

Try several Kuretake white markers to find what works for you
Both my daughter and I draw quite prolifically in a variety of media. It can be hard to find the right tool for alcohol markers vs watercolour vs coloured pencils. This variety pack allowed us to try multiple pens from the Kuretake line to find exactly what we needed for highlighting in each of the media we prefer.

I'm enjoying ZIG
These are coming in very handy for adding in a little snow or wintery touch. My students are enjoying adding a lighting flare here or there. I'll definitely be watching for more ZIG materials in our adventures on the page.

LOVE this set of pens!!
I do mixed media (mainly watercolor, but also color pencil, acrylic, marker, pastel, etc.) and I'm always always searching for the "perfect" white pen. The thing is, every white pen works differently on every surface. This pack is GREAT. It contains two brush pens, a paint pen with the finest tip I have seen on any marker (hallelujah!), and a white paint pen that I'm guessing is oil based because it dries waterproof. While none of these pens are perfect for EVERY surface, when I used them in my art journal and sketchbooks, there was always at least one pen that worked well with whatever I threw at it. So this specific variety of white pens is a great fit for what I do. I am going to order another pack just in case I run out or the nib goes on one of these- it seems every time I find a great marker, they discontinue it and I just want to have a bunch of these in my kit so I can use them without worrying about trashing them.If you are a white pen user searching for some potential white pens for a variety of mediums, I definitely recommend this.

White pens as an alternative for frisket
If you are wondering how to do fine lines like whiskers, hair or foam in watercolor, these pens are idea. They let you create opaque white lines after you've dried your painting. Instead of having to mask the lines (and those lines are often too thick or have too sharp an outline) you can apply this white ink afterward. Works well. The hair on these pigs was done with white ink and not masked. The white on the head was just left without paint. I like using frisket but the bottle always dries out and it has some disadvantages.

Poor quality
Only 1 pen actually worked. 1 showed a wet film, but no color. The other 2 just never worked. Would not order.
