Awesome
What a blessing to be able to pass on these words of history. Pastor Shane Philpott graciously shares with us a wonderful gift. Even though Kathryn Kuhlman wrote this more than 70 years ago, it is so applicable to today's culture too. It just goes to prove the Word of God is ever unchanging and always relavent. This is a clear and concise summary of God's Word presented in a way that any one could receive and understand it. I would recommend it to anyone who has any questions about the Word - you will get your answers!

Wonderful Collection of Messages
I especially enjoyed chapter 5 entitled "We Must Be Prepared". It was a deep dive into the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. Shane Philpott has done a great work by compiling a selection of Kathryn Kulman's messages for the present day reader. A must have for new and seasoned believers!

Messages are too short and very weak
Kathryn Kuhlman is not known as a great preacher. She was good at healing ministry but not good at preaching. I have read a Kuhlman bio by another author and I read Shane Philpott's first book on Kuhlman. It was good enough and that's why I good this one, but this was very disappointing. They offer no new revelation and little motivation. The "messages" are very short and pretty lame. (There are 11 message in 89 pages.)Chapter 9, for example, is 90% Scriptures. Several other "messages" are mostly/heavily Scripture verses in bold type. That may be fine in a long sermon but when it's most of the message, it's weird. The subtitle is "prophetic messages for the end-time church." They don't seem prophetic at all. Her theology was off. She was quoted saying the world would end before she died. The book would be more appropriately titled "Scriptures Kathryn Thought Were Relevant for The End Times Whenever They Are."
