Decent
Overall good tonality and sound but the bass is definitely packed, some might consider it as bloated. Also the fit is absolutely atrocious, it fits well in like.. 1 in 10 people.

Excellent tuning, astounding value, a real gem.
I've been on a bit of an IEM spree of late, these are cheap, simple, and absolutely superb. They've nailed the tuning, I've now had them for about six months and I'd have normally equalised them by now, but after playing with the sound I've kept them flat. They do take well to equalisation though. Nothing is absent or overdone to my ears, they're as close to one of my ideal tunings as I've come across. This is basically the tuning I try to tweak some of my other IEM's to.I'm not going to describe the sound at great length, I know how tedious that can be, but it wouldn't be much of a review if I didn't at least try!. First off, detail is great, it's all there but they're not super etched out, prizing smoothness and balance instead. Soundstaging is surprisingly good with a convincing 3D "headstage", and the imaging is outstanding. The bass reaches nice and low, it's detailed, hits hard when needed, but I never find it overbearing. Then again, I do like my bass!. There's a hint of bass bleed into the mids, I actually like it as in this case I think it adds body rather than bloat, it feels rich. The midrange is smooth and warm, in no way recessed, giving a wonderful recreation of vocals without ever getting "shouty". The treble treads that precarious line perfectly and extends well - its very well behaved in all the areas that can typically start to grate. I'm especially happy with the first peak at around 2.5k as it's a nice rounded hill roughly in line with the bass. Essentially it's a rich full sound and the main strength is probably the excellent timbre. It's a realistic sounding set of IEM's, instruments and voices sound like they should. I'll attach a pic of the frequency response in case you're interested. The fact these are £30 is a bit of a head spinner. Sure the cable and tips will need replacing if you want improved comfort and fit, and the accessories are minimal, but the IEM's themselves are nicely made and in a blind test I'd seriously struggle to put a monetary value on them.At the same time, the quality of audio gear designed and produced in China is now so good (provided you're selective, as with any audio gear!) that it shouldn't surprise me you can buy a £30 IEM that performs like this. They're iterating so quickly and producing such a multitude of designs with varying technology that it's honestly becoming hard to justify spending more. The last four Chinese IEM's I've bought are the Tin P1's, KZ ZS10 Pros, Shouer Tapes, and now these, the Blon BL-03. I couldn't be happier, they're all fantastic sounding IEM's and use diverse approaches (Planar, Dynamic/BAs, Dynamic/Electrostat, and Single Dynamic).I don't think we're going to be short of options any time soon either, it's only getting better. High price isn't a reliable indicator of high sound quality now, not that it ever really was. High-end does just mean expensive. We now have low cost DACs and amps that objectively equal or exceed expensive offerings - in terms of specs and performance - and the IEM space is no different. Eliminating pricing bias with blind testing ironically really opens your eyes (and ears). You can be in musical hog heaven with enough left over for a celebratory slap up binge at Mrs Miggins Pie Shop :)Excuse the rant!. The Blon put out very high quality sound. They also do it with a single full range dynamic driver. No exotic technologies, they haven't crammed as many balanced armatures in as possible, they've used one quality dynamic driver and tuned it almost to perfection. They're old school done right and they're a must buy. I hope this helped a bit, there's not much else to say about the sound except it's fantastic. Happy listening :)

Paired with the right ear tip these sound fantastic
So I caught the hype train and purchased a pair of the BLON BL03’s.Among the audiophile community these cheap IEM’s are getting some rather positive reviews.Out of the box these single 10mm Carbon Diaphragm Dynamic Driver IEM’s certainly look the part. They have a gorgeous design with premium fit and finish making them appear to be much more expensive than their small price tag would have you believe.First impressions weren’t good in terms of audio quality. The supplied ear tips don’t allow these IEM’s to shine.Much like the Revonext QT2S, they have punchy bass but sounded flat with the stock tips.So after several attempts trying to pair them with the right ear tip I just couldn’t get the sound signature I desired.I persevered finally settling on a slightly longer nozzle with a medium bore silicone tip.Wow!!!Now these things sound good. Really good!Bass is deep, detailed and punchy yet still controlled.Vocals whilst a little recessed are clear and precise. Treble is crisp and defined allowing these IEM’s to extract the best from Blues, Rock and Jazz.BLON haven’t concentrated on the packaging. They’re not presented like the TIN HI-FI T2’s but they come with a nice detachable cable and carry pouch. The said cable is a bit of a tangle monster but all is forgiven when these inexpensive IEM’s are paired with the right ear tips.I collect IEM’s and I can recommend the BLON BL03’s to the casual listener. Out of the box they sound good enough for most people. With a little time spent the keen audiophile or someone who just likes good sound can get these inexpensive IEM’s to sound twice as good as their price suggests.A bargain indeed!

Tremendous-sounding IEMs. A true hi-fi bargain!
I stumbled across these IEMs the other day on various YouTube hi-fi channels I follow and set about getting my hands on them ASAP.The sound signature of these IEMs is closely aligned to my taste and is of a quality that is far in excess of what one has a right to expect at this price (they sound closer to IEMs costing well over £100 in my experience). There are plenty of detailed reviews elsewhere regarding the sound quality so I'll leave it at with regard to this aspect of the BLONs. Just know that I am extremely fussy and these have more than satiated my thirst for great sound in a small, highly portable package.Build and finish is generally excellent, although I'd prefer a longer nozzle onto which the high quality silicon eartips attach for a firmer, deeper fit. Having said that I did try out all the supplied sets of eartips and found a fit close to my ideal, although there are a number of deeper ones made by other manufacturers that I have read about that will fit the BLONs which I will try out in due course, as others already have to remedy this issue. The supplied cable is actually better than I was expecting as a number of reviewers did not get on well with it. One thing that I will need to do is heat up the cable around one of the earpiece connectors as it has a kink in it that prevents the earpiece sitting as comfortably in my ear canal as it might otherwise do (it is shrouded in a firm, transparent, plastic sheath at this point in the cable). The other side is fine however. A relatively minor issue to be honest but one that shouldn't be present, even at this price. In summary then the BLON BL-03s are a revelation and an ABSOLUTE STEAL at around £35. Do yourself a favour and check out the many reviews on YouTube and elsewhere and you will be left in no doubt as to their overall quality.I evaluated the BLONs by comparing them with a variety of headhones in my collection including my AKG K712 Pro, Audioquest Nightowl Carbon and Nighthawk Carbon, Sennheiser HD598SR, Philips Fidelio L1 and X2, Yamaha HPH-MT5 and HPH-200.In summary these are extremely fine-sounding IEMs, irrespective of price. Very highly recommended!

Insanely bad build quality really, stock up on Araldite epoxy :)
I have had 3 pairs of these since I loved the design and feel and sound, but sigh, all 3 sets are literally held together with epoxy since from the factory the two halves of each earpiece are joined by what seems to be a hope and a prayer and not much else on Blon's part.Maybe it is just because I am unlucky, or the fact that I generally wear headphones 24/7, including while I sleep (drowning out tinitus and my brain), but honestly one set fell apart within days of light use and another, sigh... the connection from the cable to the IEMs which is not great on any of my pairs was broken from the start with a split on both where the wire connects to them meaning that they would become disconnected while you were using them or, much worse, when you take them out of your ears they would fly away under a chair or down the road or so if you weren't careful. That pair I not only had to epoxy the halves together as usual but also the cable to the buds haha, they were the pretty purple ones too and now look gross with only thick epoxy making them slightly useable. Now after a year and a half and finally giving up on all 3 pairs and needing something new I decided to go with something different haha, fool me 3 times complete shame on me and no more ;). I have been using a set of Linsoul 7Hz Salnotes Zero for the last month and despite being £10-15 cheaper than bl-03s feel completely solid and no worry of them falling apart if you look at them funny, with even the cable feeling and looking a crazy amount more premium and once you hook them up the IEMs are connected for good, no worries. They are also completely tangle free which is a nice change of pace from the insane knots that my blons would sometimes end up in even though I would never actually put them in my pocket or backpack or anything, sigh hehe.Even the tips on BL-03 fall off too easily, like a few times I have taken them out of my ears and the tip has stayed inside my head, and far too many mornings I have woken up just to play a game of find the ear tip, ho hum. Apart from that I think the zeros have a bit more punch and fun to the sound than blon, not sure, not an audiophile and even if I was I generally have headphones hooked up to bluetooth devices like my FiiO uBtr or some sonru things that I soldered in batteries to let them run for 24-40 hours between charges which is not ideal compared to an amped up dac etc hehe. The zeros are also a bit more comfortable when lying on my side on a pillow which is strange given the size and change in shape but I guess is becuase the pressure is spread out more, though I still usually just have one ear in while asleep since it is what I am used to for many years, sigh.. I think that the last pair that I could sleep with properly were sennheier cx500 that I think were discontinued ?.. hmm.. hehe.I might try the Fanmusic ThruthEar X Crinacle Zeros next, or FiiO FD1, no idea.. I honestly wish that I could say whatever blon has coming out next or whatever, but I am done with this company I guess... to the point that I don't even like having multiple pairs as backups since a backup is something that you trust, lol.

Amazing for the price point, impactful bass.
I have no background with iems, these are my first. However, I do own airpod pros and various open and closed back headphones from Beyerdynamic, Hifiman, AKG and Sennheiser so can appreciate a good sound signature. The BL03 provide OK clarity in the mids and highs, with elavated bass and sub bass. No distortion even when EQ to silly bass levels. Decent imaging, seperates sounds pretty well. Build quality seems good too on my unit, some audiophiles in the community have reported recieving multiple units with issues though, more details can be found on crinacles review. I have knocked one star off due to the provided eartips not being very comfortable, this may be subjective though. I have purchased some foam tips for mine. The cable is fine, it's nothing special. I opted for the cable with mic, the mic is not good but will work in a pinch, you will need to hold the mic to your mouth so not ideal for handsfree tasks. The BL03's do respond well to an EQ too so you can really dial in to your preferences. You should buy this headphone if you like bass heavy music, you will not be dissapointed. I am very impressed coming from mainly open back headphones that cost around 10x as much.
