The Restarting Point (Chammont Point Book 1)

I think any female would enjoy this book. It's a great read and is excellently written. Marci makes you feel like you are part of the story and like Jade, Darby and Taylor could be your best friends, family or neighbors. As this story unfolds, it reminds me so much of the friendships we all strive for and wish we had as adults. Who doesn't want fun friends who also care about you and are willing to help you pick up the pieces to your life when you need it most, even though you haven't known them all that long? It really is true that you find out who your friends are when you need them most. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series will bring for these three women who have found so much of themselves in the first book and in each other. I also wouldn't mind visiting Chammont Point. Marci creates this quaint little town (or at least how I picture it) for us to fall in love with as well. Overall, this is a very well written book about love, friendship, starting over and finding yourself along the way.

Marci sucks you into her stories in the first chapter and keeps you there to the end. Jade, Darcy, Taylor and Liam have a depth of character that makes you want to turn the next page to see where their path goes. I look forward to their continued stories in the next book.

I started reading and could not put it down. But when I did I could not wait to read again. The characters were so funny and interesting. It was an inspiring story.

Friendships, family and a new lease on life is the starting point for this new series. And it absolutely blew me away. The depth of the characters, the story, and emotion held my interest from beginning to end. Jade is a cancer survivor who has her world blown away. What was supposed to be a family vacation celebrating her second chance at life turns into Jade finding a new path and some new friends. The characters are witty and funny. The story line is heartwarming and emotional. With great characters and such an emotional story, this book is a huge hit with me. I absolutely loved it.

The Restarting Point is such a heartfelt beautiful read. I love that Marci Bolden gives us these fabulous female leads that form a bond and a beautiful friendship together. Darcy will put a smile on your face with her laid back ways. Taylor is more the voice of reason of the group. That just leaves Jade the mama bear of the group. This is Jades book and be prepared for an array of emotions that will follow as Jade takes back her life and starts over in the small town of Chammont Point. You will go through so many emotions with Jade from anger to grief and finally the sense of peace. Jade is amazingly strong as she faces this new adventure of her life. You will fall in love with this small town and the cast of characters. I so cannot wait for more from Chammont Point series.

I laughed and cried and laughed more. All of these characters are so well done. I feel as if I have met each one at some point in my life. Jade has a lot to deal with but does it so realistic. I can’t wait for the next book. Does Palmer become a good mom? Does Jade keep her job? What does Taylor do with her business?

This gorgeous cover caught my attention. I love a lake or beach setting, so naturally, I needed to read The Restarting Point. I was hooked from the first sentence—loved the tone of the story immediately and yes, I loved Jade Kelly from the beginning. Throw in some colorful characters from Chammont Point and the heart break Jade suffers at home and Marci Bolden has the perfect book. The Selling Point, book 2, is on my TBR list!

I purchased the book off my summer read list and couldn’t find it at Chapter’s/IndigoDelivery occurred earlier than expected and book was a quick easy read

The author is an excellent storyteller

I enjoyed this book. It wasn't like all other books. Great characters. A little different story line. Go for it.
