I received the unit with any face plate. I wasn't going to use it anyway, so no big deal for me. I also noticed what another mentioned about the water/dust cover having to swing up to cover the two usb ports, instead of down. So, in certain applications water would be more likely to get into the ports. However, again it's no big deal for me since I'm keeping mine in a hatch on the kayak, so it will see very little water (I hope). I also tested the readout by first using a multimeter which measured 13.07v, and the unit measured just one light above 13v. I then tested the usb (the regular size one) and it worked fine. The drain from the short time my ipad was connected brought the readout down to 13v. So, it has very good accuracy for the scale it shows. If not for the lack of faceplate and the dust/water cover being reversed, it would have been an easy 5-star.

Have to see the colors of the indicator LEDs to know the charge voltage,but easy. I like it 3 amp charge rate and lights up in charge.

The fact that it has an on/off switch saved me from having to install a separate power switch. Super pleased with this device, buying a few more for other projects.

Just hook the device to the battery terminals of the tractor wilth alligator clips and disconnect the negative alligator clip when u r not planning to use the tractorHelps to visualize the alternator getting up to speed before u reduce the rmps down from 2,000 to 1,500 which leads to why do they not have something like this installed on the tractor to begin withI got a second unit to put on my new 2022 24hp compact tractor

I ended not install and returning only because the waterproof cover come up from the bottom of the socket. All the still photos and one shot in the video show the cover being installed from the top. Other shots in the video show the actual installation. If using in a stand alone - one socket installation, this would be fine. I was installing in a three socket panel so it would need to be installed upside down for the waterproof cover to be functional, or not install the cover at all.

I bought this to charge items and show the status of the voltage with the LEDs.I did not realize the LEDs would spin and not show the status when they are charging. Otherwise great but will just buy one that shows the exact voltage.

Wondering what "fast" is supposed to tell me. For example, at about 80% full, an iPhone 11 charges at about 1 Ampere using one of Apple's wall warts (the 1 inch cube). The same phone at the same charge level charges at 0.5 Ampere on on the QS3.0 slot of this "charger". On the PD slot the charge current oscillates over time within .6 Ampere and 1.3 Ampere and then hovers around 0.65 Ampere. Currents were measured with an accurate USB meter and confirmed with a quality multimeter on the 12V supply side.On the matter of maximum load, I have managed to squeeze 2.5 Ampere into the charger (measured on the supply side with a quality multimeter) using one load connected to the QC3.0 slot and second load connected to the PD slot. Within a couple minutes the charger becomes so hot, you cannot touch it anymore. I have attached an infrared image reading over 90 degrees Celsius (195 degrees Fahrenheit). I do not consider this safe.Finally, based on the product description, I understand the charger is intended to work with supply voltages between about 12Volts and 24Volts. I have not tested it with 24Volts, but if it is designed for this purpose, why do the LED-based voltage indication on the charger stop at 14.6Volts beyond which the charger allegedly turns on another LED to indicate over voltage? This is just plain confusing and adds to the poor product description.

J’ai acheté cet article pour remplacer une prise à double usb 2 amp et 1 amp. L’ancien chargeur maintenait à peine la charge lorsque je l’utilisais sur ma tablette, mon nouveau est capable de remonter ma batterie même si j’utilise ma tablette et de charger mon cellulaire en même temps.Je viens de le poser, j’espère qu’il durera longtemps…

Its great, but don't forget to turn it on every time you want to use it. Had to shave down the plastic of the hole in order for this unit to fit in the stock lighter socket spot as a replacement.The lights are cool.
