Best carrier ever
I've had the best customer service from OE through e-mail. Always answer within 1 or 2 days max.I got the 2.0 version (this one right here) as soon as it became available in Canada. Received it in 3 days, NO PLASTIC PACKAGING and everything was as advertised.I'm very happy with the modifications they made to the new version. The clips for the shader are much more reliable and easy to manipulate and the new clips for the backpack are positioned in a way that lets you (or someone else) go through the pack without removing it.Everything is super sturdy and feels very durable. It took me 3 tries to find the right setting for me and the configuration possibilities are amazing. You can adjust this thing any way you need. I'm 5'10'' and I had to use one pair of extension for the back rods. Contrary to other carriers of this type, women can wear it too as it is easy to move the straps where they need to be.The boys absolutely love it. As soon as I put them on there they are laughing, pointing at things and babbling a whole bunch (they don't talk yet). The bigger one is a bit on the heavy side and is very tall so it was a bit harder to carry him, especially since he tries to reach for everything he can't usually reach. The backpack is surprisingly good too. I was expecting a cheap little thing just as a bonus and to fit a couple things but this is a real good day pack that is clearly worth at least half the price of the whole thing.(Maybe offer a more affordable version without the pack for the people who don't need it?)Plus the matching hats are really a good add-on and are again, surprisingly well made, 100% cotton. The carrier is more than I expected and I don't regret it one second.I just want to answer the weird 2 star review lower since the owner didn't answer it.Clearly the person who reviewed it didn't read the instructions. Looking at the pictures, she is wearing the carrier and the backpack both at the same time. The backpack is meant to hang off the back of the carrier. Of course it would be horrible to wear 4 shoulder straps and 2 belts. I can't even believe someone would think this is the right way. Also, the belt of the carrier (or any kind of backpack for that matter) has to sit ABOVE your hips. She's wearing it on her butt...I can also assure you that the kid is absolutely secured. The strap are adjustable and I wouldn't be scared one second of him falling asleep and not balancing himself. There is no way a kid would fall off of there if strapped in correctly. Her other point was that she could fall and then the kid would be hurt but that's the case of any carrier of any kind. Not sure what she was trying to say there. Obviously don't go rock climbing with this but don't be scared to go hiking. Unless you're pushing beyond your capabilities I don't see why you would fall.If you want to compare with minimeis, go check out on youtube the reviews of both OE and minimeis carriers. The channel ''Family life with the pod'' has great unbiased reviews that will explain the pros and cons of both products. (Spoiler alert, OE has none)Really, just buy it and try it. I can't see why someone wouldn't love it unless they just don't use it.Thanks OE for the great service and for the little details and features of the product. I'm amazed at the quality you provide.

Best Carrier Ever
As the market is flooded with commercials of the Minimeis, I truly wanted to buy it. the idea of having the child on the shoulder instead behind my sweaty back, even brought back memories of my own father having me on his shoulders. But the Minimeis is to overhyped, it is everywhere. So my wife was a bit against it for buying it, and right she was! My neighbour bought the minimeis and is very happy, but when I tried it on, it was just to much on my shoulders. I tried to tell myself, it is just a temporary thing, I'll get over it, but yet, I couldn't. I felt a bit bad. I still wanted to order it, because it's awesome?! But after a long search to compare, if there is any similar product, I stumbled on a link in an forum post towards the Our Expedition carrier.I also found a comparison video on youtube and in everything pointed in favour of the OE Carrier. So I decided to order it! Not only is it about the same price, it has extra support on the hips, included backpack, included sun protection for the child and 2 lovely caps for parent and child.I have used it a couple of days now, including some small hikes and I just love it! I even found a way to attach my big DSLR camera to it :). Even my child loves it, every day on multiple occasions when passing the carrier, he stops and starts pointing at it and telling me that he NEEDS to sit on it.The best thing I believe this product offers, is the regained freedom. After 20months of buggy walks, attempting back carriers, just holding the child in my arms, this arrives and gives back all my freedom! I can easily walk narrow forest paths again, stairs, steep uphills, you name it! It's like getting your driving licence, that feeling you get that you can go anywhere you want!I have so much more to say or write, but I'll leave it at this, because I am writing a book.Don't doubt, just buy it, it will be the best thing you have ever done :)

Best shoulder carrier for toddlers
We initially wanted to buy this back in the spring but when we contacted the seller they told us the new model isn’t coming out until few months later. We ended up purchasing this carrier after purchasing minimeis for our 2.5year old. After trying the two similar but different carrier, this carrier had so many more function than the minimeis (also the weight limit is higher)! My husband likes it much more and says is way more comfortable to carry our toddler on this than our previous. Overall for the same price point we definitely recommend OE carrier!
