Worked for me.I was facing CEC issue with two HDMI inputs to my mi TV.

My MiSTer completey broke the CEC on my TV when plugged in. Channels renamed themselves, my sound bar literally wouldn't work at all.. it was bedlam until I figured out the MiSTer was the cause. Sure I could unplug the thing every single time I was done using it or if I wanted the change the channel, but why?This plug solved literally all my problems and now I don't have to constantly be putting stress on HDMI ports. Maybe a little pricey, but I literally couldn't find anything else that advertised itself as an HDMI CEC stripper (no clue why this is so rare), so it was this or nothing. I guess regardless of the price it worked exactly as described. I'd absolutely buy another if I needed to.

This worked!My receiver has the tv, cable box and DVD player connected. The tv was trippin with all these devices. I put the adapter on the hdmi port for the DVD player (path: reciever >DVD port>adapter>hdmi to DVD player>DVD player) and now the DVD player is longer in the mix and not confusing the system. My tv and cable box are straight into the reciever, arc is turned on, no optical cable. Volume is controlled by the one remote-Sony tv remote. The only messy bit is when the DVD player is used, I have to use the reciever remote to select that input. We rarely use it so it's very much a non issue. Wie viele Wissen, ist CEC noch immer eine Welt für sich. Bei mir hatte es überwiegend mit verschiedenen Geräten vernünftig funktioniert, aber leider auch nicht immer.Jetzt nach dem Neukauf einen Wunsch Mediaplayers gab es doch das ein oder andere Problem, das sich unabhängig von der Konfiguration der Receiver nicht ausschalten ließ, bzw. gleich wieder angesprungen ist. Auch der TV ging plötzlich immer mal wieder aus unerfindlichen Gründen aus.Die Empfehlung war in verschiedenen Foren, dass man sich einen HDMI Adapter zu legen soll, der diese unerwünschten Signale einfach kappt. Das hat mit diesem Adapter super geklappt. Preis Leistung ist für mich auch total ok. Verschlechterungen in der Bildqualität konnte ich nicht feststellen.

I have had a lot of problems with my Samsung TV, connected to a Sonos AMP through HDMI (E-ARC) AND a Google TV Chromecast on another HDMI input. I have had two different problems.1. Everytime I turn on the TV the external sound with Sonos is not discovered until I unplug the Chromecast. Unplug and plug in, then the sound is through Sonos as I want as default.2. I cant change the volume through the TV remote.With this device plugged in between the Chromecast and the TV, both of these problems have been resolved.
