The box it came in was completely opened. The finger and thumb ring of the tong is very sharp and unfinished on the inside, as seen in the pictures. The paint is bubbly, feels like it will chip off easily. I DO NOT recommend this product! Look elsewhere. One star because I could not write the review without a star.

We used these tongs to compliment an elegant tea party. They were perfect. Note, these can detach, but if they do, you simply pop them right back together. Such an elegant way for guests to serve themselves without touching everyone else's food!
