It's nice
It's not very easy to apply honestly but it does what it says it does. I have a few wrinkles and folds in mine so it's not perfect but I also had issues putting it up. It's rather difficult to install on your own.

Follow the included directions!
These work great. The directions say to cut the film an inch larger than you measure your window, in my experience a 1/2 inch worked better. As another reviewer stated , the manufacturer really needs to figure out a way to make it easier to peel off the backing. I would also like to see the measure marks on the backing be a 1/2 inch or even an inch rather than the 2 inch currently on there. There is a bit of a learning curve getting these installed but once you get it it’s easy as pie.Definitely would buy again, actually have already purchased more for smaller windows.

Works well but get ready for the smell
The good news is that this window film does what it promises—it blocks out all daylight, and does a good sticking to a clean and lightly misted window. The bad news is that once you’re done applying this to all of the windows in your baby’s nursery room, you’ll suddenly realize that it smells like plastic in there, and running two air filters at top speed while also running a fan and opening windows to create a cross breeze will not get rid of it—at least not until 2 or 3 days later. The smell is finally gone completely now, but it leaves one uneasy not knowing how harmful those fumes might have been.

Useful tip in this review
As other reviews have noted. the grid marked cellophane film is really difficult to separate from the (1/25” thick) material that goes onto the window. I'm 73 and my hands aren't steady, so here’s how I did it. Once you take the wrapping off, you'll see the end of the roll is taped to the rest of the roll at the middle and near the ends. Before you cut these at either end, lift the end of the material a little so the tape begins to lift from the roll so that you can cut the tape maybe an 1/8” beyond the end of the roll. This way you end up with a little tab of tape on the end of the roll which is where you can get a razor under the grid cellophane to create a starting point to lift and remove the grid cellophane. It is definitely easier to remove the grid cellophane from the edges of the roll. They should make this so the grid cellophane has little 1/4" tabs along the sides every 2" or so. Good stuff, nice surface one installed. One reviewer said you need 2 people. I did two 28 x 57” windows myself.Very warm when done but by night it was surface temp like the window frame. I had meant these pieces to go beyond the glass and onto the flat aluminum slats around the perimeter of the glass. However, once I began to squeegee the surface to eliminate air bubbles this drew the edges in toward the glass. I added black electrician’s tape on some spots so it stayed down on the aluminum flat pieces. The tape also ensured completed black-out. You could instead just cut to glass size like in their video and add electrician’s tape for complete blackout. Freakishly dark in my bedroom now. They recommend adding cloth to the squeegee, I did that by rubber banding piece of old tee shirt on my 99 cent store shower squeegee and on a small hand-held dish scarper/spatula. Both worked well.

Black-out windows
Follow the instructions when applying the film. I would also suggest cutting the film close to the size of your window to make trimming easier. I did find that the black-out film was still hotter than the tint film, probably due to no UV protection.
