The photo makes it seem like the beads will be a variation of shades of red, orange in bright tones but in person they’re much more subdued yellowish tan or auburn tones. Half of the beads were stuck together like they’d gotten fused together somehow so there’d be 2, 3 or 4 beads forming one clump. And you couldn’t just pull them apart by hand either. I tried and ended up with small cuts on my fingers. To separate them I used a plier to hold the clump and hit them with a hammer. If I hit just right 1 bead would pop off and I’d have to repeat this for each bead in the clump. Pretty tedious. The pliers teeth made it possible to get a good grip but left little scratches of course. No other beads I bought from this merchant stuck together like this. Must be a peculiarity of this stone.

The pictures look vibrant and beautiful. The actual beads are mostly grey, not orange. I made a bracelet and it was literally too ugly looking to keep wearing it :/
